Good afternoon Beautiful people. I recently got tired of Nepa ish and decided to get a solar system for my small home. 1 freezer, 1 console, 1 TV, 2 fans. I contacted someone who after talking to him we agreed on 4kva which he said will carry my non inverter 1 hp Hisense AC. We agreed on 1.8 and he'll be using 400w panels x 4. I want to know if it's a good deal on my part or if the panels is not enough for that. He sent me some tubular batteries which I'll post below. I'm just new to this and don't want to get burnt. Country hard

Solar panel is pushing to 29.2v as inputted in the felicity inverter but grid is doing 27.7v - 27.8v

I noticed my felicity inverter normally charge to 29.2v on solar but on normal Nepa it will just be around 27.7v

I have a question that need explanation please

CAN A 10kwh Lithium battery power 1hp LG inverter AC set at 16degree temperature ( not GEN mode) 50watt fan and 100w bulb overnight ( 6pm till 6am next day) with charging?

I just need DIRECT ANSWER and forget about inverter size , panel size and charge controller size

Added to what everyone has said, your pic indicates the CC has considered your batteries as full, so that's why you are seeing only about 200w coming in from the panels which is basically what you are using in the house at the moment of the pic.
There's no problem with that.
Just try to follow the advice of getting a better battery like lithium so that you can comfortably charge with 1400wh seeing you are using a small 60a CC. You'll never get the full power of your panels too except you change to 100a cc. Even if you do, only lithium batteries can chest that high charge current and not tubular batteries

Image isn't clear but you need a 100A CC ideally for your 2460w PVs. You're bottlenecked by your charge controller.

Also, like the comment above says, you're also limited by your batteries (tubular ideally should be charged at a max of 0.2C, which would be 44A).

Effectively, you are overpaneled. Technically nothing wrong with that since it just means your setup can work at its peak performance even in less than peak irradiance. But it also means you'll never get the full utility of your pv array.

Now, should I get 100A CC to replace the 60A CC since I am not upgrading the batteries now or I should stick with the 60A for now

It was installed on 5kva felicity inverter, 2 pieces of 220ah battery and 60ah felicity charge controller

I want to make enquiry

I went to fouani office here in Abuja to get 2 pieces of jinko 615w panel to add to 4 felicity 280w panel already installed but the manager said it will not work except I don’t care if the new panel is supplying 280 instead of 615.
I called an installer and was told same thing. later, I was discussing with someone and he said I should not mind them that it will work well if I install the 2 new panel, then connect it to another face on thesame charge controller

I want to confirm from people with experience

As people refuse to subscribe, Gotv is doing promo on all their channels presently. You subscribe or not, just go and on it and start watching for free.

Nobody will tell anybody not to increase the price, market forces will be the main determinat factors in the long run.

Some of them will lose out when there is no patronage again. They are not life sentence.

This Dec makes it 1 year of non subscription to gotv and dstv
