If the application shortcut is on desktop then share your desktop with him once you both are connected to the router

Just got a Pc (Compaq).
The issue is this;
Its Operating System is Windows 7 Home premium.
and I don't like it... I need an upgrade!
and I felt the best place finding an answer is nairaland.
from ur experiences, please what Operating System (Os) is better?
Windows 7 professional or Ultimate or just windows 8?
cuz I'd like windows 10, but from u guys previous posts, Windows 10 has a lot functions to struggle with, that such person as myself can't do with.
so guys what's ur advice, so as to know d Is disc to buy!

it's straight forward. You already partitioned your hard drive, so you have a hard drive that appears like 2. windows 10 is already installed on one so the other is empty.

use your windows 7 CD and boot through bios and when you get to select drive, select the empty one.

you can tel me what you're doing and what error you're getting so I'll know how to help further

Me. I actually I bought HP 2000 here from him for a friend. The PC is as clean as new and the person is enjoying the laptop up til now. Remember we didn't even see d item until it was delivered but everything is perfect. I stay in OWERRI.

since the on screen keyboard is working i believe it's hard ware. Try external keyboard to see if it works well. You'll just have to change the keyboard sha

here are a couple of things to try

1. if you have access to external keyboard, try it. if it work then you need to change your keyboard
2. go to settings and change keyboard layout then try
3. try using on screen keyboard to see if its the same

if i understand you well, you want too dual boot both windows 10 and 7 right? Since you've already partitioned the drive, you just need to use the windows 7 CD and install it through bios on the second partition

uninstall your keyboard from device manager and restart. Though I'm suspecting keyboard failure. It usually starts with one key malfunctioning

Greetings house.
My laptop (hp pavilion dv6 entertainment, core i3) appears to be faulty. When I power it on, the indicator lights come up, the processor fan too. The screen displays briefly and then the system suddenly trips off.

At first, I thought it was my battery(because system has been Waring me of replacing battery), but when I remove the battery and plug it directly to power source, same thing happens.

I took it to my coper colleague for trouble shooting. He said d motherboard needs to b repaired, billed me and all. After some days, he said the mother board needs replacement as he wasn't making any progress on repairing it.
Could he b wrong with his conclusion, because I don't have any loose 25k for board.

Been using that system since second year (2012/2013) without any ish

Ps: a small portion of the screen is cracked but I've been working with it anyways.

He's probably right. You'll need to replace the board or the laptop but first try discharging excess charges in the capacitors by removing battery and charger then press and hold power button for 1 min then connect charger and on it

How does your laptop show the key is pressed? No, windows expiration has nothing to do with it

Go to device manager and update display driver from there. Your problem would be solved instantly
