1)So rooting my phone means I have to install custim recovery? Thats like downloading another firmware but this time Custom?
2) i'm not a pro in this rooting and one thing i opted for stock rom was just so i would avoid bricking my phone. 3) so it cant work on un-rooted phones? Even simple server i just download doesnt work on unrooted phones. I don tire @computerboy

First of all, I'll like to know
*your baseband version
*if you're rooted
*if you've installed a custom recovery
*if you've installed root explorer the paid version (you can get it free from Google)

You're still in ur region, you need to change region. Sorry i forgot to mention these steps
*back up ur data and all important files in device memory
*boot into recovery and wipe data and cache
*flash firmware again but this time, un-tick "auto reboot" in odin so your phone won't boot up after flashing
*when u see pass in odin, unplug ur phone and boot directly into recovery (this won't boot ur phone into recovery rather it'll change ur csc region to Russia and boot to normal mode)
*Enjoy a brand new feel in ur phone

Your phone is genuine but Your kind of flashing needs service firmware (5 files flashing). You can't do it as a novice. I suggest u take your phone to a repairer or if u stay around kano i could help

if it happens to be original, try flashing your device model's pit file and tick re-partition in odin

Hope you've downloaded and installed the samsung usb driver *very important*

First unzip the firmware with winrar to get the two files inside. Put them in a folder and mark the name/location of the folder.

Now go to ur developers menu and turn on usb debugging then switch off ur phone and boot into download mode (by pressing and holding home key, volume down button and power button together then when u get the prompt, just press volume up button to enter download mode)

Double click on Odin to open

Connect ur phone to your laptop with original usb and wait for odin to detect it (you'll see the sign on the left top bar as "com 35" or any number)

click on AP and browse to the folder where u extracted the firmware and select it

wait for odin to load the file and click start and wait patiently for it to show "pass"

Warning: Don't alter the default settings of odin or disconnect your phone before the flashing process is completed for any reason. This might hard brick your phone

Impatiently waiting for the release of Lollipop 5.1.1 on S5 that will fix all the major bugs of the current lollipop. I wish there is a way to easily downgrade to Kitkat, without having to do it via odin cos I hate flashing my phones.

Flashing stock firmwares is same as OTA upgrades. There are plenty of stable/bugs-free lollipop firmwares for s5. Just download another region and flash cuz 5.1.1 would be a long wait

Obviously, you've been flashing the wrong firmware. You must flash your carrier (sprint) firmware not any s6 edge firmware u see.

Bro I use a samsung galaxy s4 I9500 as well. ....
The problem is from the region you're on. The only regions without bugs in their lollipop update are Indian and Russian regions. Currently, the best lollipop rom for I9500 is the I9500XXUHOD4 build. So download it and flash via Odin, that's what am using since May and it's been very smooth so far.

Please your help is needed here. My Samsung Galaxy S3 is giving me multiple problems.
1. The mouthpiece volume is very low, my callers can't hear me even when I shout into it, except I put it on loudspeaker or I am using an ear piece.

2. Just 2 weeks ago the bluetooth and wifi became faulty, other devices cannot find my bluetooth and if I try to send a file to the devices already paired with the phone before the problem began, the bluetooth would just go off and on again. As for the wifi, it has almost the same problem. it goes on and off, and I can't transfer file via Wifi Direct.

I have tried many things including factory reset, yet the problems persist. I rooted the phone three months ago and I can't possibly attribute the problem to rooting since it worked fine for like 3 months after rooting. Please what possible solution can you offer me, our team of Experts?

All your issues sounds like kernel problems. Did you change to custom kernel? Try flashing a new kernel and check

If you check IMEI with *#06# and no IMEI, that means you've corrupted your efs folder. Did you back up your efs folder before flashing the rom? If no, then Google for your phone's modem and flash it

After waiting for a reply for like ever..I finally decided to visit xda developer forum to help myself. I am glad the ROM didn't work or else I would have brick my fone. THIS ROM IS FOR SAMSUNG S4 19505 VERSION. Anu body interested in a custom ROM should visit the appropriate forum and read all the necessary information before u brick your fone. Well I'm now using Norma N4/S6 v10 which is very good.
