I guess he is associated with lots of people,... so restrict the dog's socialization either caging him or on chain..

have done that.even on chain always.though they are big and intimidating,they would always play when taken to ease themselves.just tired.are boerboel as lazy as this?

To me i would say that as far as he (according to ur statement) is just your boyfriend,talk to him about it cos if that continues,he might use it as an excuse to break up with u.He is just your boyfriend and not your husband and neither has he promised to marry u nor engaged you yet.if it persist,breakup with him cos if he marries u,mhhh it will be worse.
