I have gotten from a reliable source (a Customs Officer) that officials of Nigeria Customs Service sells cars that are not bidded or winners failed to pay on its e-auction site to their friends and cronies.

Ideally such cars are to be re-uploaded for bidding by interested Nigerians in the next bidding cycle. But since the last auction conducted on the 22nd of May 2019, more than fifty (50) cars were either not bidded or winners failed to pay and customs kept mute on those cars.

Our findings through insider information revealed that Customs sell the cars to their friends and families.

kindly pass the message until it gets to the Comptroller General of Customs for further investigation and action.
