April4th:4 young men were shot dead within the okera nla ajah axis in lagos by unknown gun men. From what we can gather it seems the 4 deceased men were members of the aiye cult and they were attacked by the eiye cult in a fierce battle. That area has been a hub for cult activity and many lives have been lost in that vicinity. The relative authorities should do something about that area, imagine paying 1.5 million naira for a 3 bedroom house in a area where people are dying like flies. After the death of davido's boy isreal their was a reprisal attack by the aiyes in which they killed an eiye boy in the ado area of ajah. So to cut the long story short the eiye boys now came back and killed the 4 of them like goats to be used for sallah meat. Life no longer has value, the more we watch and do nothing it will only get worse. Imagine Edo state people are also thinking of making a known cultist as their governor, well i wish them well. |
It needs to stop. |

RonaldoVido:When people compare obaseki and ambode you guys really need to be fair. Obaseki is fighting oshiomole with chemical warfare, nuclear missiles while you guys expected ambode to fight asiwaju with sticks and stones. First of all obaseki, his deputy, ssg and most of his cabinet members stood with him. 18 local government chairmen and 10 house of assembly members are also with him. The former apc chairman oyegun and the apc governors forum came out to show support on behalf of obaseki. Ambode's predicament happened during the general elections when other governors were either going for re-election or trying to install a successor, so most of them were pre-occupied. Ambode's deputy, ssg and most cabinet members abandoned him. 1 house of assembly member and 2 lcda chairman not recognized by Abuja stood with him. Obaseki had loyal party men ready to fight in each city, while in lagos that national road transport workers union under the tag of mc oluomo were going around to make sure no one on ground supports ambode. So it would have been difficult for ambode to fight back. |
OROSUNBOLB:You are very correct it is south vs the north in 2023. But because of the division in the south it will make it a divided south vs a united north. Apc is on life support and its termination date is may 29th 2023. The north needs a 3rd term and they know that it will be hard to achieve in apc so they have dropped the broom for the umbrella. Atiku and tambuwal are probably going to be the 2 main contenders during the primaries. A southerner will come out in apc and depending where he is from, will determine his chance of beating the northern machine. If he is from the south west, then the south east and part of south south will prefer to vote pdp. If he is from the south south they will still vote pdp because they feel pdp belongs to them. Osinbajo would be a good apc candidate but he has been caged and the cabals no longer trust him. In politics the only thing constant is change and as long as our interest align where on the same page. Asiwaju is a fighter and a good chess player so I expect him to have some tricks up his shoulders. As soon as Aba kyari's death was announced I knew asiwaju would soon have problems, because aba kyari was asiwaju's main man in the villa and for the right price all was possible in the name of buhari. If Atiku is still healthy and alive by then, I see him as the next president with tinubu working for him so as to retain lagos. |

Corporate2020:People like you are the reason asiwaju is having this problem, you distort the facts and say what you want people to believe. Point of correction asiwaju got buhari the apc ticket, while obasanjo and atiku made him president. Without those pdp governors, the speaker tambuwal and other big wigs defection sai baba would have still been sai mama. So asiwaju should know he did not do it alone and find a way to consolidate the south. |
Ken imasuagbon was Wike's candidate including the former edo pdp chairman Dan Orbih. With the high powered meeting they did in Atiku's residence in asokoro abuja yesterday with the Pdp chairman Secondus, bukola saraki and others in attendance he was told to do the needful and that his interest would be taken into consideration. With Wike deciding to back out, ken had no other choice than to step down for obaseki. |

overall90:Don't you know sometimes you have to lose a battle sometimes to win a war. Ambode had no GOC's, no flank commanders, no ground soldiers and the people willing to vote for him were not willing to put themselves in harms way. How was he a coward, he went for guber primaries even though his then godfather asiwaju had promised him the lagos east senatorial ticket. If ambode had decide to decamp to a smaller party, with pdp not an option a lot of his political associates would not have followed him and he would have been humiliated. As of today ambode is the only person giving asiwaju sleepless nights let me explain. Asiwaju would rather dump his presidential bid than lose lagos, because with lagos he is financially secure and will still garner political importance due to its geographic position and economy. With the poor showing of the sanwo-olu administration, people are missing ambode, to make matters worst, the people that fought ambode to a stand still are now at loggerheads with asiwaju. Aregbesola and the late senator representing lagos east Gbenga Osinowo aka Pepperito. Sometimes they say be careful of who you make because those are the ones that later come to bite you the hardest. If ambode should join pdp and go for lagos guber 2023 race it go hot ooo. He has performed in the eyes of many, people in Abuja will do anti party just to remove asiwaju's claws from lagos, seeing ambode as a easier person to conquer if he wins. From what I am hearing it seems asiwaju wants to compensate ambode with the lagos east senatorial ticket for the bye elections since the senator representing the constituency just passed away a couple of days ago. If that happens don't be surprised, because asiwaju has to cover his bases even though I don't see an ambode accepting. |

positivevibez:Not the movie type, But it is common knowledge for those of us that have lived life and been to one or two places to know the norm in some situations. When they were the soviet union they were the most brutal country in the world. Since the break up of the soviet union the most brutal and sophisticated gangs are the Russian mafia, followed by the Ukrainian's and the Chechens. So if you have any dealings with Russians I would advise you to keep to your part of the bargain and leave the popcorn at home. |
EgunMogaji2:Mrs Kemi Olunloyo is wrong on this one. The word from the grapevine is that this job was done by woodberry and Hushpuppi was just the middle man between the account holder and woodberry who actually did the deed. Even up to the point both men were not on speaking terms at the time of their arrest and many people felt that it could have been money issues. Also do you know that the Russians will skin you alive and Hush no get that kind liver. They will turn his Gucci shoes to his permanent tongue and drive his Bugatti up his anus while breaking the speed limit. |

Grayoso:Thank you for being civil and level headed. You just proved to some people out there that not all Yoruba's are bigots like a lot of our brothers from the south east suggest. Now can any other state or tribe allow a Yoruba man that was born in their state who is not an indigene to even try to run for for governor in any party at all. |
NGpatriot:Im not stating that its wrong, because lagos state is a melting pot of many tribes but state of origin is where your family is from. A lot of northerner's, ibo's and even Yoruba's are born in lagos but put the state of origin their family are from. Hamzat's father was a king in ewekoro before he died, so if our deputy governor had interest in being his father's successor will they say he is a lagosian. Most of them used their original state of origin while attending secondary school and university before politics were ever an issue. So all ibo's and other tribes born in lagos are lagosian's and should also have the right to run for governor. |
Christistruth00:You are correct Dr Olushola Saraki, bukola's dad is from Abeokuta and the mom that gave birth to Dr Olushola Saraki is from Oyo. So it baffles me how they were able to become kwara's first family. If you go to Abeokuta north local government you will see where his ancestors are buried. |
Sammy07:Sanwoolu is from ijebu mushin ogun state very close to epe while Hamzat is from ewekoro ogun state. |
