FamilyWhy Cubana Chief Priest & Chioma’s Parents Were Shut Out Of Davido’s Wedding by Conestone(op): 9:07am On Aug 10, 2025
Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, aka Davido, is said to be holding his white wedding with his wife, Chioma, in Miami, United States of America, on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at The Havana in Miami.

Before the main ceremony, a pre-wedding dinner was hosted in honour of the couple, with close family members and friends in attendance. The event had the couple all lovey-dovey over each other, and a video online showed their enthusiasm for one another.

In a video of the party on Friday night, Davido was dressed in a multicoloured outfit, while Chioma appeared in a white gown. Some highlights at the event included familiar faces such as his colleagues— Adekunle Gold, Teni; and popular blogger, Tunde Ednut.

However, although Davido seemed surrounded by family and friends, some notable faces people would have expected to see at the party were nowhere to be found. One of them was Davido’s close friend and associate, Cubana Chief Priest.

Cubana Chief Priest took to his Instagram to explain the reason he would not be attending his friend’s wedding. According to his post, although he was not physically present, his wife was there to share in the blissful union and represent him. He wrote,

> “Woke up this morning with mixed feelings. I’m happy and I’m still sad at the same time. Sometimes God has a way of making you understand that you are powerless, regardless of all you may think you have. I appreciate the bashing because that has given me multiple reasons and proof to apply again @usinnigeria.

Do it for me this time. You can clearly see how disappointed and hurt the world is to see me absent at my best friend’s wedding. You need to give me access to get my fat ass into America. Well, delay is never denial; CP is still hopeful. I’m wishing my best friend @davido and his beautiful wife @thechefchi an amazing wedlock. The largest part of me, which is my family—my beautiful, elegant, expensive, eloquent, and sophisticated wife @_deangels—is there to share in this luxurious, blissful experience, so I’m there in body and spirit. @usinnigeria I’m in again next week, please give me access to the greatest country in the world. This pain is really paining.”

It was also alleged that Chioma’s parents would not be present to witness their daughter’s wedding because of a similar situation of visa denial and a ban placed on them. In a post by popular journalist and blogger, Stella Dimokokorkus, she claimed that Chioma’s parents’ visas were revoked and temporarily banned for overstaying during their last visit to the US.

Her post read in part,

> “Insiders revealed that the real reason their five-year visas were revoked was because when Chioma’s parents were asked at the point of entry into the US how long they would stay, they said one month. But when they got in, the reality on ground was different, as Chioma had a postpartum condition and also became anemic, and the mum had no choice but to extend her stay and nurse her daughter back to good health, while the dad returned after the time they indicated they would stay…”

Meanwhile, at the pre-wedding party, Davido revealed that the wedding cost a total of $3.7m. He said,

> “We spent $3.7m in cash. You should know what we are doing. It’s crazy.”

As the much-anticipated wedding unfolds today, fans are eagerly watching one of the biggest celebrations in the music industry this year. Davido also revealed a new tattoo that read “Chioma” on the left side of his lower abdomen during a pre-wedding photoshoot.

Please mention the full squad. It’s unfair to just list only the 11 players on the pitch.

It’s called a team for a reason.

RomanceNigerian Men Preparing Bride Price For Female Robots by Conestone(op): 6:24pm On Jun 18, 2025
BREAKING: Nigerian Men Preparing Bride Price for Female Robots

This morning I saw a guy kiss a female robot — and she actually blushed and responded. I was scared… but also impressed 😅.

At this point, I’m convinced that in the next 10 years:

Some men will be saying:
“She may be a robot, but she has peace of mind.”

Mothers-in-law will ask:
“What tribe is she from?”
And the guy will reply:
“Samsung.”

Nigerian mechanics will start offering “wife repair services”:
“Oga, na the motherboard wey don crash — but we go reset am!”

And the new marriage vows?
🗣️ “Till low battery do us part.”

Now imagine your robot wife is angry:
She enters Airplane Mode.
No talking, no Bluetooth, just silence 😂

But let’s be honest — some people are already treating real women like robots. No love, just control. So maybe the robots are not the problem... we are.

Technology is coming for everything — love, jobs, even in-laws
The future is wild. Are you ready?

‎𝐓𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐝.

‎Pratik Joshi had spent the last six years in London, working hard as a software professional, holding on to a dream — to one day bring his wife and three young children from India to join him and build a better life together abroad.

‎That dream was finally coming true. Just two days ago, his wife, Dr. Komi Vyas, a respected doctor in Udaipur, resigned from her job. The family had packed their bags, said their goodbyes, and looked ahead with hope in their hearts.

‎This morning, filled with excitement, they boarded Air India flight 171 to London. They took a selfie, smiling wide, and sent it to their loved ones — a snapshot of a new beginning.

‎But they never made it.

‎The plane crashed. No one survived.

‎In an instant, a lifetime of plans, dreams, and love was gone. A harsh, heartbreaking reminder that life is painfully fragile. Everything we hold dear — our families, our futures, our happiness — can disappear in a blink.

‎So while you still can, live fully. Love deeply. Be present. Don’t keep waiting for the perfect time to start living.

‎Because tomorrow is never promised.

EducationRe: How Many Of You Agrees That Our Mom Were The Real Bully Of Our Time? by Conestone(op): 8:05pm On Jun 08, 2025
This is to all mothers out there; please don't belittle your kids and don't compare them often. All this can make them have low self-esteem and make them feel shy in public.... I later discovered that you can hardly find children from rich families with low self-esteem .... Most of the kids who had low self-esteem in my junior school days were actually children whose parents are struggling

I remember I used to have very low self esteem if I'm going out with my mom, especially when it's a case of going with her to church or family party. My mother can compare for Africa 😂. Mom will compare me to every thing that has breath 😂. My dressing, my walking steps and all.. to the extent that I can't feel my face if I'm walking towards my mom in the congregation and she is starring at me...... I sure know say she go tell me something wen go kill my self-esteem even more

Education5 Things You Should Know About The New Elected Pope by Conestone(op): 8:52am On May 09, 2025
Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost – now known as Pope Leo XIV — is the first pope from the United States.

The 69-year-old from Chicago is known as a leader with global experience. He spent much of his career as a missionary in South America and most recently led a powerful Vatican office for bishop appointments.

His election represents continuity with the papacy of the late Pope Francis, and he is expected to continue Francis’ reforms of the church as well as his focus on poverty and marginalized people.

Here’s what else you should know about the new American pontiff:

He was the “least American” of the American cardinals: Prevost was born in Chicago. But inside the Vatican, where he eventually lived and worked, he was considered the “least American” of the US cardinals.
He was well regarded by Pope Francis: The late pontiff “respected him and thought of him very highly,” according to CNN’s Vatican correspondent Christopher Lamb. “Clearly Pope Francis saw in him something – he saw him as a capable leader.”
He’s a member of the Augustinian order: Leo is a member of the Augustinian religious order, which is spread across the world. He led the order for more than a decade as its prior general.
He has strong leadership experience: Francis appointed Prevost to be the prefect of the Dicastery for Bishops, which is in charge of assessing bishop candidates and making recommendations for new appointments. He also served as the president of the Pontifical Commission for Latin America.
He has a missionary focus: “I still consider myself a missionary. My vocation, like that of every Christian, is to be a missionary, to proclaim the Gospel wherever one is,” Prevost said in an interview with Vatican News shortly after he moved into his leadership role in Rome

EducationThis Is How A New Pope Is Chosen by Conestone(op): 8:44am On May 09, 2025
When a pope dies or resigns, the governance of the Catholic Church passes to the College of Cardinals. Cardinals are bishops and Vatican officials from all over the world, personally chosen by the pope, recognizable by their distinctive red vestments.

Following a vacancy in the papacy, the cardinals hold a series of meetings at the Vatican called general congregations. They discuss the needs and the challenges facing the Catholic Church globally. They will also prepare for the upcoming papal election, called a conclave. Decisions that only the pope can make, such as appointing a bishop or convening the Synod of Bishops, must wait till after the election. In the past, they made arrangements for the funeral and burial of the deceased pope.

Four rounds of balloting are taken every day until a candidate receives two-thirds of the vote.
In the past, 15 to 20 days after a papal vacancy, the cardinals gathered in St. Peter's Basilica for a Mass invoking the guidance of the Holy Spirit in electing a new pope. Only cardinals under the age of 80 are eligible to vote in a conclave. They are known as the cardinal electors.

For the conclave itself, the cardinal electors process to the Sistine Chapel and take an oath of absolute secrecy before sealing the doors.

The cardinals vote by secret ballot, processing one by one up to Michelangelo's fresco of the Last Judgment, saying a prayer and dropping the twice-folded ballot in a large chalice. Four rounds of balloting are taken every day until a candidate receives two-thirds of the vote. The result of each ballot are counted aloud and recorded by three cardinals designated as recorders. If no one receives the necessary two-thirds of the vote, the ballots are burned in a stove near the chapel with a mixture of chemicals to produce black smoke.

When a cardinal receives the necessary two-thirds vote, the dean of the College of Cardinals asks him if he accepts his election. If he accepts, he chooses a papal name and is dressed in papal vestments before processing out to the balcony of St. Peter's Basilica. The ballots of the final round are burned with chemicals producing white smoke to signal to the world the election of a new pope.

The senior cardinal deacon, currently French Cardinal Dominique Mamberti, Prefect of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura, announces from the balcony of St. Peter's "Habemus Papam" ("We have a pope") before the new pope processes out and imparts his blessing on the city of Rome and the entire world.

CareerAwards That Do Not Exist by Conestone(op): 9:13am On Apr 25, 2025
Awards that Do Not Exist

But we still try hard to win them. Why?

Let’s talk about some fake awards.

They don’t exist.

But we act like they do.

We work for them.

We stress for them.

We feel bad when we don’t “win” them.

Let’s break this down, one by one:

1/ Most Perfect:

↳ You are not a robot.
↳ Perfection is not real.
↳ Making mistakes is okay.
↳ Progress is better than perfection.

2/ Never Said No:
↳ It is self-neglect.
↳ You have the right to say no.
↳ Protect your time and energy.
↳ Saying yes to everything is not strength.

3/ Rested the Least:
↳ Rest is not laziness.
↳ Your body and mind need it.
↳ Rest helps you work better.
↳ You don’t get a trophy for burnout.

4/ Didn’t Need Help:
↳ It's not weakness.
↳ Asking for help is smart.
↳ We grow together, not alone.
↳ You are not supposed to do it all alone.

5/ Worked the Longest:
↳ Work smart, not just hard.
↳ It often means poor boundaries.
↳ Working long hours doesn't mean more success.

6/ Didn’t Make Any Mistakes:
↳ Mistakes = learning.
↳ They help you grow.
↳ Be proud you tried.
↳ Don’t be afraid of them.

7/ Lived Up to Everyone's Expectations:
↳ You can’t please all.
↳ You’ll lose yourself.
↳ Please yourself first.
↳ Everyone wants different things.

Real success is this:
↳ Healthy body
↳ Peace of mind
↳ Self-acceptance
↳ Joy in small things
↳ Supportive relationships

Stop chasing fake awards.
Start living your truth.

You don’t need to be perfect.
You just need to be real.
