Yeah, but didn't do it myself, gave it to a specialist. Since I was scared of damaging the phone.

Reset with PC... Off security features, then update. As for me I copied the android 9 update so I just reset the phone and put the android 9 back. Then I used my email to open the gmail smart lock thingy.

Seems the Nokia X5 has gone out of stock again on Jumia Express, couldn't find it.

Look for the latest update. It's about 1.something gigabyte.

There's a bug with the latest update... Make sure to remove all security features like fingerprints and pattern. If not you'll be locked out of your phone. Happened to me lol

Okay normally when your phone goes off it'll require your pin at first boot so try reset your pin with your Gmail.

Happened to me too... It's a bug from the latest pie update. You have to reset it bro, using a laptop.

Mizik it's 5.1 plus... I'm experiencing the same issue.... When i got the phone, it brought the update notification... I ignored it for about a week.. Then I tried updating on Tuesday.. It's been telling it's up to date....meanwhile I'm still on android 8.1

I have updated mine at last.

I tore that thing off. It looked stupid and took away the shine of the phone a little. By the way it's 5.1 plus, no Chinese apps and it comes with Google Play.

Good news is I got the update today. After complaining everywhere lol. Although update was around 1223mb wayyy bigger the last one.
Everything seems to be okay now. Still testing. Thanks for the support guys. Nokia For Life lol

Just bought 5.1 plus from Jumia and can't update phone. Tried resetting, tried WiFi, nothing works. It's says it's already up to date. Give us a solution pls. The phone is nice but this bug is killing it for me.

The update issue maybe from Nokia or Google. I'll suggest you keep trying.

How come everyone else's works except ours? This is so saddening. I've done a factory reset all to no avail. Anyone ? Pls ? Or have they stopped pushing the updates ? I don't think so though.
