This is my take on this.
This a beautiful comment from Prof Itse Sagay, our honourable jurispuendence legal practitioner with arguably one of the highest integrity in Nigeria. Another critical question that brings to fore is what is the limit of political campaign finance in Nigeria in our laws. The last time I checked, it stipulated a maximum of one billiona naira for Presidential campagn. JEJ, PDP, Dokpesi and all NEC of PDP could also be indicted for this.
The take away for me in the whole of this is that when you see top Nigerians opening their mouths wide openly campaigning for an individual or his policies and making him to look like a god, just be sure that he must have benefited one way or the other. This has been going on for a long time. The eeror here is that the NSA, thinking that he was beyond the law (un untouchable), did not bother to perfect the contract and funds disbursement as is the norm. We thank God for PMB and the change wind. More scandals are still going to blow open like can of worms. we are watching like siddon look. Ghen ghen. God bless Nigeria.
