In med school, know yourself, what works best for you, and stick with it. Celebrate every small wins because no win is really small. You could have moments of failure or feeling of inadequacy—those moments your score board reads what you consider too small for the great effort. Don't sit on those, else you'll remain for long that long cycle of failure —and it would only get worse. Find time to do other things too coz med school will drain you. Have things you're doing that will keep you "sane." It's not easy but anyhow anyhow, everyone would find their way to keep their head afloat amidst the "storm." |

The 2023 Mock-UTME earlier scheduled for Thursday,16th March, 2023, has been shifted to Thursday, 30th March, 2023. The shift in date is partly owing to the change in the date for the Gubernatorial and State Houses of Assembly Elections earlier scheduled to hold on Saturday,11th March, 2023 but now moved to 18th March, 2023. Candidates, who registered early and indicated their willingness to take the Mock-UTME, would be notified as to when to print their Mock-UTME notification slip, which would contain their centres and other details. The Mock-UTME is an optional examination introduced by the Board to provide opportunity for candidates to have hands-on experience with the system as well as afford the Board an opportunity to ascertain its readiness and that of its partners for the main UTME, which is scheduled to hold between 29th April, to 12th May,2023. The Board also wants to use this opportunity to announce that this year’s UTME would witness some groundbreaking innovations aimed at addressing observed infractions and centre failures. For instance, in the new regime, if there is a delay of up to one hour before the commencement of a particular session, that session stands cancelled and would be rescheduled along with the candidates. By the same token, no examination can be started one hour after the scheduled commencement time. The session will be scheduled for any VACANT or AVAILABLE slot. The Board has made it mandatory that candidates must be notified of their new scheduled session or centre, as the case may be, before they leave their centre. In addition, no candidate would be allowed to spend less than one hour before submission of responses during the UTME. Similarly, the new regime would make it impossible for candidates to login after one hour of activation of examination. If for any reason, an examination session is cancelled or cannot hold, candidates are not to panic as they will simply be scheduled for the next available session, which could be that same day. What such candidates are expected to do is to quietly leave the hall and move to the Holding Area to await further instruction. Furthermore, they are not to leave the examination centre until they have been notified of the day and time of their rescheduled examination. Candidates are to note that any rescheduled examination is strictly meant to accommodate only those whose examination session could not hold on account of one reason or another not for those who were marked LATE or ABSENT for their session. The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released a breakdown of all payments for the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Recall that JAMB earlier announced the official dates for the 2022/2023 UTME/DE registration. That included the dates for the 2023 mock and main examiation. According to the board, the Registeration both UTME and DE candidate is expected to hold between 14th January to 14th February, 2023. Earlier today, the board had released a breakdown of how much every UTME candidate will pay for the 2023 UTME/DE registration. This includes the amount you will pay for the literature text compulsory for all candidates irrespective of your course and Institution. Below is a breakdown of the payments for 2023 UTME/DE Registeration: UTME candidates not sitting for Mock – #5,700 UTME candidates sitting for Mock – #6,700 DE candidates – #4,700 Note: The breakdown includes all CBT charges and the reading text. https://consultgana.com/jamb-releases-breakdown-of-payments-for-2023-utme-de-registration/

With the recent announcement by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) of the date for the commencement of the 2023 UTME/DE, the board advised all candidates who desire to register for the 2023 UTME to immediately embark on the creation of their respective profiles ahead of the formal commencement of the registration exercise to avoid being caught up in any ensuing bottleneck. While several candidates have started getting their profile codes ahead of the registration, some are experiencing issues with getting theirs. This can be due to several reasons. In this article, we put you through ways to resolve the issues encountered in creating or generating your profile code. I Sent NIN to 55019 or 66019 But I Did Not Get Any Reply The reason for getting no reply is usually a problem with your network provider, SMS service center number mixup. While this can happen with any SIM, it is mostly common with non-MTN SIMs. You can try to remove your SIM from the phone and insert it into another phone. Then, resend your NIN to the shortcode 55019 or 66019. Invalid Character Found Errors To get the profile code, if your NIN is “01234567890″, send an SMS in the format NIN 32365678513 to 55019 or 66019. Avoid the use of special characters like (“), (.), colon ( dash (-), etc.It Says "Insufficient Balance Error" This is clear enough. For Profile code generation, you must have at least #50 airtime on your MAIN ACCOUNT - not BONUS ACCOUNT. Phone Number Used Already by Another Candidate This is also very clear. Just ensure you’re the owner of the number and no one has used it for JAMB registration before. Record Not Found for the NIN To solve this issue, check if the number (NIN) you sent was correct. If anything is omitted, correct it. If you put space anywhere after the NIN, remove it, then retry. If you get the same error again after doing that, wait for few days and retry. If you keep getting same error, kindly visit the nearest NIMC center to make a complaint. Date of Birth Invalid If you get this error, this shows that something is wrong with the date of birth submitted for the National ID card. To solve this issue, visit the nearest NIMC enrollment center to change your date of birth to be suitable for the exam and admission. Surname/First Name Missing in NIN Details This is a NIN-based issue. JAMB system is unable to see a correct arrangement of names, or the NAME on the NIN is invalid. To solve this issue, kindly wait for a few days and retry. NIMC and JAMB should be updating things as time goes on to allow candidates with issues to get through. If you get the error again, kindly visit any nearest NIMC enrollment center and make a complaint. NIN Passport is not Valid The system could not see your passport clearly or there is no passport available in the first place. Visit the next NIMC enrollment center to make corrections. No record found for NIN contact NIMC This is usually because the NIN registration was recent and a few things needed to be done by NIMC before being fully updated. Wait for few days and retry. Visit the NIMC enrollment center to make a complaint if you keep getting the same error. Do you still have further questions? Do use the comment box below. Check the NIMC enrollment centers nearest to you>>> https://www.nimc.gov.ng/nimc-enrolment-centres Source: https://consultgana.com/jamb-2023-profile-code-issues-solved/

How to Generate JAMB Profile Code For 2023 UTME The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) recently approved commencement of registration for the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) from Saturday, 14th January to Tuesday, 14th February, 2023. The registration for Direct Entry (DE) is also expected to commence from Monday, 20th February to Thursday, 20th April, 2022. With respect to new development, all in preparation for the 2023 UTME, the board also advised all candidates who desire to register for the 2023 UTME to immediately embark on the creation of their respective profiles (creation of profile code) ahead of the formal commencement of the registration exercise to avoid being caught up in any ensuing bottleneck. In the light of this, for all the candidates who are interested in registering for the JAMB 2023 UTME/DE, this article will show you how to generate your 10-digits profile code. Note: Before you proceed to create your 2023 JAMB Profile code, you must have the following in place: 1. Your National Identification Number (NIN). If not, proceed to any center nearest to you to register for one. 2. A vaild phone number that belongs to you. It is often not advisable to use any other person's (including your parent's). This is because henceforth, whatever phone number you use to create the profile will strictly be tied to you and will be used by JAMB for everything that pertains to your 2022 UTME registeration. 3. A minimum of fifty naira (#50) on your main balance (not BONUS account). How to Generate Your 2023 JAMB Profile Code There are basically two ways to do this: the USSD code and the SMS methods. The USSD Code Method. To get your JAMB profile code via USSD dial *55019*1*NIN (National Identification Number) # and send to generate the 10-Digit unique profile code or use *66019*1*NIN#. Example: *55019*1*0123456789# OR *66019*0123456889# You will receive an SMS that contains your JAMB profile code and full name. The profile code is the ten digits unique number e.g. 0123456889 Keep the JAMB Profile Code safe till the 2023 JAMB registeration begins. The SMS Method Send the phrase “NIN” followed by a space and your 11-digit NIN number.
