Administrative processing (AP) is more like trying to check whether or not you should be given the visa/visa approval. You don't have to do anything at this point rather you keep your fingers crossed. From my experience with about three of my clients, there is no timeframe for administrative processing as some stayed three weeks(minimum I am aware of/seen) while some two months.
I know resumption is around the corner but just sit tight. However once a request is made for you to submit your passport, then know that you will get it visa stamped in a few days.

I attended my F-1 interview in Lagos on June 23, 2035. I was placed on administrative processing for social media vetting. It's one month now, and my status has remained on "Application Received." My program starts in middle of August.

I sent an email to the Consulate, and got a response two weeks later that my case is still under administrative processing. I confused since it still shows "Application Received" instead of the traditional "Refused" or "Administrative Processing."

This is mentally stressful.

Date like this comes but you just need to be keeping your fingers crossed to get a date that is without stress. I got some early Aug dates for some clients yesterday in lag yesterday.

Nice update boss. However prior to this, there were August dates in Lagos for the F category visa

Go and check the appointment website and book. Lagos is available but Abuja is not available yet. It might come online soon.

Yes you do. Try to be persuasive while keeping fingers crossed. Do not be discouraged even before the interview rather put in the proper preparation.

Yes boss. You are right and thus the reason why I recommended the Mexico route as an alternative since the Brazil route is likely going to take time/delay (if she's already far gone into the pregnancy)
To add to that; having a France visa can also get her into Mexico. Gracias boss

FYI, for Mexico you don’t need a visa if you have a valid US visa. Another great thing is that Mexico practices Jus soli.

Mexico has one of the world’s strongest passports.

Chances of this is so slim so I will not advise you take this route if you still would love to visit the states in the future. If you want to give birth try Brazil or Mexico.
