Hi, I have a 2008 Accord LX with a 2.0L 4 cylinder engine that stopped working about seven months ago. This failure happened a few months after we replaced the transmission of the car. We have met with a few mechanics who told us that the engine is bad, and we would need a full replacement; one even said that we would need to replace both the engine and transmission, because according to him, the engine went bad because the transmission installed did not pair correctly with it.

I've come here to ask if there's anyone in Ibadan that can help with diagnosing the engine, and advise on whether it has to be replaced or it can still be fixed. Person must be based in Ibadan and possess the required tools for diagnosis.

Known symptoms: Upon start of the car, the engine makes a very weak noise, and so we can't rev the car properly. The car hasn't been driven since it happened about 6-7 months ago.

Also I'd appreciate any advise i can receive on here.
