AndSunGorilla:No problem, bro. Like I said earlier : Nothing spoil. All is well 👌😎 |
AndSunGorilla:Ronaldo will always remain special and phenomenal and I have no problem with people who see him as THEIR G.O.A.T. The problem arises when they call him THE G.O.A.T, which is clearly not true. You can love someone and still accept that someone else is better than him. Unfortunately that's hard for a lot of people to do. |
Napoleon55:Offline sarcasm is different from Online Sarcasm. Offline, your tone of voice, a smirk, or an eye roll tells the listener not to take you literally. Online, text strips all of that away. Emojis and quotation marks are the digital equivalent of your face and voice. Expecting people to guess your tone through flat text is a poor way of communication especially in this case where he seemingly assumed the role of a Ronaldo fan for the sake of sarcasm. Sarcasm should only be hard for your opponents to decode and not the other way round. The whole point of sarcasm is to support one side but pretend to support another in order to expose the absurdity of their argument, hence my insistence on quotation marks or emojis because his reply was not directed at a Ronaldo fan but to me. |
Amedino99:Bro, he's not the first I've heard that from. A lot of my colleagues who are die hard Ronaldo fans make that silly argument all the time, so you should understand my reason for not giving him the benefit of doubt. Besides, this is the internet. If one wants to portray sarcasm perfectly, it would be wise to make use of quotation marks or even laughing emojis at the end of their statements so that people will know and won't take them seriously. 🤷🏽♂️ |
mostob:I thought about that as well but sometimes pesin fit dey use sarcasm dey mask him true intentions, hence my response. Nothing spoil sha. All is well 😎 |
AndSunGorilla:LMFAO. Another Ogunmepon fan annoyed by a simple post about Messi . 🤣🤣🤣 I'm not laughing at your statement; I'm laughing because you actually thought it was intelligent enough to be posted on the internet. 🤣 Is that the level Messi's undeniable greatness has reduced Penaldo's fans to? That they now have to bring up a competition Argentina isn't geographically qualified to compete in, just to troll Messi? Is that the best you could do? Seriously? 🤣 If you find my posts about Messi so annoying, I'd advise you scroll once you see my moniker or better still use the block button. It will only take a couple of seconds to do that instead of this unnecessary heartache you're causing yourself. 🤷🏽♂️ |
Patriotic9ja:I love Messi but calling him a "god" is too much. Just say God Almighty sent Messi to teach all of us football ![]() |
Haters of Messi, your tears aren't loud enough. ![]()
|
Who God has blessed, no one can curse 💥😎💪 Support Messi and have peace of mind!!! ![]()
|
You won't hear them shout "rigged" and "robbery" now, but if Argentina equalizes? Boom ![]() |
Firstorderwizard:That will be so funny to watch ![]() |
Pickford don dey feel himself. Ok nah ![]() |
Phraences:Their hatred won't change anything. Ronaldo will most likely never win a World Cup till he retires. ![]() |

It's funny how Penaldo's fans keep switching and changing nationalities out of their hatred for Messi. As if it would change the fact that Ronaldo will most likely never know what touching the World Cup trophy feels like ![]() |
JoeEeL:Click on that Stv logo |
That was a reckless tackle from Anderson to Messi. Trust me, England, you don't want an angry Messi. Be kiaful ![]() |
Why was Elliot holding Enzo's legs? |
Kalulu44:Football is a contact sport so there'll always be a little bit of aggression. The problem arises when you make pace and aggression the bedrock of your tactics. It'll work for a while until you meet a team like Spain that's filled with incredibly technical players who can do wonders with the ball especially in tight spaces. Spain taught France how to play football today. |
MrSamsung:Unique analogy but very sensible. 👏👏 |
This is what I call "wotowoto pounding". I keep saying it: When it comes to football, technicality will always defeat physicality and aggression 99% of the time. France thought it was all about pace and pressing aggressively but Spain said, "No be by pressing. You sabi hold ball? You sabi move ball?" ![]() Spain made France look ordinary today. |

7 minutes additional time. How? |
See the Mbappe that people were defending against Paraguay. Why did he run into Unai Simon like that? |
Spain haven't even unleashed Merino yet ![]() |

It's interesting how a lot of people underrated Spain ![]() |

mostob:Don't worry, God has his ways of helping his people in such moments ![]() |
mostob:I almost made that same mistake. I thought they were going to play later tonight only to find out through divine intervention that the match was scheduled for 2 AM ![]() |
Haakeem:Serious pains oo. Their evil plans keep on failing and backfiring ![]() |
