Should we call it the return of NITEL or the introduction of NTEL? No matter what we call this, it promises to bring a serious competition to the Nigeria Telecommunication environment. Welcome NTEL, the fifth GSM company in Nigeria. NTEL, a company officially known as NatCom Development and Investment Limited recently acquire both NITEL and MTEL from the federal government of Nigeria through a guided liquidation process following years of unsuccessful privatisation. The management of NTEL has therefore announced that commercial activities will be launched in November 2015. http://www.gsmgist.com/2015/11/what-ntel-nigeria-should-do-to-take.html |

MTN is definitely a Smart business organization. Or how best can one explain the mtn business model. I see a company here that intentionally make free call available to the public and after we all bought at least 3 new SIM cards, they will simply discontinue it. How best can they maintain the status of the number one network in Nigeria without some wururu? http://www.gsmgist.com/2015/08/latest-mtn-credit-bonus-for-unlimited.html |

A Polish priest and Vatican official will no longer be able to carry out his duties after announcing he is gay on the eve of the assembly of bishops, a Vatican spokesman said. With his partner at his side, Monsignor Krysztof Olaf Charamsa held a press conference Saturday to call on Pope Francis to change the Catholic catechism on homosexuality. http://olooto..com.ng/2015/10/catholic-church-priest-comes-out-as-gay.html?m=1 |
Iolo:Thanks I have gained from this |
domcarez:My is to raise issue and it is for MTN or anyone else to explain. Someone just gave an explanation here which is informative... I have seen the acceptance of the DY account to be very low by the public. Take a statistical analysis and you will discover that discussing of its limitations will only help improve the package. The word myopic do not come up here at all. What other mobile payment account is there from MTN that has a different feature? |
In as much I don't want to engage so deranged fellow on Nairaland, I consider ur post insultive and a disgrace to the integrity of the black race. When will a black man stop seeing another as a cheat? With those limitations, how will a farmer in ekohinde village make use of the DY Account to it potentials? You made a statement and insult someone else without consulting your brain as other have pointed out too. Every system is open to criticism so as to improve If you care to know. Thanks for the insult bro, your case might be that of a thief will surely keeps its penny away from an angel. |
It is currently impossible to save into your account by converting your MTN Airtime into cash. It is still impossible to save money using your airtime. If this is done, it will encourage the savings culture among users of the DY Account. Although MTN Nigeria claim is that you don't need to visit a bank before you open an account but in reality, that will only open a level one account for you. This level of account has a lot of limitations on both daily withdrawal and maximum available balance. To open a level two and three DY Account, you will need to visit a diamond bank branch for documentations. There is a lot of middle man within the system. This will likely breed distrust within the people in the rural areas. DY account don't have ATM CARDS and thereby excluded from online transactions. http://www.gsmgist.com/2015/10/mtn-dy-account-good-features-and-its.html |
oluwafemi113:I believe they will make a statement soon but no one is sure if the arrest was at the request of FGN. They should count buhari out at the moment. |
The immediate past Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke, was on Friday arrested in London, PREMIUM TIMES can exclusively and authoritatively report. The former minister, who was one of the most powerful officials of the President Goodluck Jonathan administration, was arrested Friday morning alongside four other people by the British law enforcement agency. The identities of the four other people arrested along with her could be immediately ascertained. PREMIUM TIMES learnt she was arrested for offences related to bribery and corruption being investigated by the UK National Crime Agency. Two top British officials in London have however confirmed the development to this newspaper. They requested not to be named because they have no permission to speak on the issue. The British High Commission in Nigeria confirmed that some arrests were made Friday but declined to disclose the identities of those involved. Joseph Abuku, Press and Public Affairs Officer, said, “This morning, five people between the ages of 21 and 60 were arrested on suspicion of bribery and corruption offences. The crimes are being investigated by the National Crime Agency. “The National Crime Agency does not confirm identity at arrest nor provide information that could be used to corroborate the identity of an arrested individual.” http://olooto..com.ng/2015/10/alison-madueke-arrested-in-england.html?m=1 |
