You know the thing about hunger?

Everyone knows that when you haven't fed your body, you're bound to be hungry.

But does anyone know the exact hour, minute or second the hunger will strike?

True hunger is like the proverbial thief in the night.

It strikes unexpectedly even when expected with the knowledge of insight aided by history.

It may be pacified by little snacks here and there but without a proper meal, true hunger is crippling.

It consumes your thoughts to the point that when offered the snacks that kept you at bay, you're enraged!

What good is a snack when you'll be hungry again in another 10 minutes?

What good is a snack when no matter how much you take it, the hunger never abates?

You want a longer lasting solution over the short-lived answer to the overpowering ache in your being.

You want food! The rich and filling kind that soothes the rage in your belly!

You go out in search of it and nothing else makes sense until you find it.

Not your trade, business, class, parents, societal constructs, pride, ego, self-esteem, or family! Nothing else matters.

You want to get rid of the hunger at all cost.

Your brain kicks into survival mode because it knows that you could die if starved of food.

When true hunger strikes, you fight to find food to eat because you know otherwise the hunger will kill you..

True hunger is the change maker in a society bridled by blood thirsty parasitic politicians.

It has no leader nor does it bow to any solution that does not address its root cause.

It starts a revolution that gives no televised forewarning.

When true hunger strikes Nigeria, the revolution for true change will not be pacified by the usual tactics used by politicians. You and I will be out there fighting for our lives, because if we don't go out and risk dying for it, the hunger will kill us quite literally.
