They laughed because they know the Judge is a Joke. Those in the Assembly knows the exact amount that comes into the State and how it is disbursed, so know the Judge's accusation lacks merit.

Osun is a very poor State, and Ogbeni Rauf did not make the State poor, he met it that way.
You are insulting the good people of osun, you owe them an apology.

Nine out of the 142 staff placed on compulsory leave without pay since 2011 by the Kogi State Transport Company have lost their lives under hunger-related circumstances.

Two of the deceased’s’ colleagues– Mr Ndakwo Mohammed and Mr Anate Audu– who disclosed this in a statement circulated among media houses in Lokoja on Sunday, said that a number of their colleagues were also in life-threatening situations .

They said that the workers who had put in years of services ranging from 10 years to 23 years, had been facing untold hardship and were now in deteriorating health condition due to lack of money to feed and pay for medical treatment.

“Many of us have been ejected out of our houses and our children chased out of schools due to our inability to pay rents and schools fees,” the statement said.
It explained that all efforts to seek redress through the intervention of the state house of assembly and several letters to the state governor, Capt Idris Wada had proved abortive.

The News Agency of Nigeria ( NAN) recalls that the Kogi State Transport Company had, though a circular dated June 30, 2011 and signed by its General Manager, Mr Augustine Tokula, directed all the 142 members of staff of the company to immediately proceeded on compulsory leave without pay.

The fate of the workers have since then been hanging in the balance as the government has continued to remain silent on the matter.

Both Mohammed and Audu appealed to the state government to take a definite position on their matter, saying that they could no longer live with their present condition.

The workers have also indicated their interest to embark on peaceful protests on major streets of Lokoja, and have written to intimate the State Security Service and the police of their plan.

Let's be sincere, that man needs to be fired, he misused the state funds.

I do not support any thief.

One thing you have to realize is that, Osun State in Nigeria is the poorest State. And have to work with the subvention from the Federal Government alone, to Govern from the money from the CENTER alone is very difficult.

Until the accounts of the State is made public, will not crucify him.
But this same man told the world that osun state can survive without FG funds, he also boasted of IGR and all of that, why come out now to say they lied against him?

Of Course we knew the Judge was lying.

And that is the reason she is in trouble now, and honestly she should be de-barred for playing Politics as a Judge. Judges by virtue of the sensitive position they hold, in the Society are neutral politically even if they have strong opinions.

Ogbeni Rauf, the people of Osun State are completely behind you.
God! Don't tell me you support that "ole" of a governor

Politics / Osun Judge's Allegations Against Me Are Lies by coolestrogue(m): 4:08pm On Aug 09, 2015
Osun State Governor, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola, has described the allegations by Justice Folahanmi Oloyede against him as deliberate falsehood fabricated to tarnish his image and to set the people against him.
Aregbesola said this in Osogbo on Saturday while speaking at the 50th birthday party of the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Mr. Najeem Salaam.
Although the governor stopped short of saying the judge was used by the opposition, he said the petitioner and those using  her had failed woefully.
The governor said it was condemnable  to find just a lie  in anything a judge said, adding that one lie was enough to rubbish the image of any judge.
He said his administration did not collect N538 billion contrary to the claim of the judge that the money was the total amount the governor collected on behalf of the state and its local government councils and not N204 billion which Aregbesola disclosed to the lawmakers during the inauguration of the assembly in June.

Aregbesola said, “After examining the petition written by the judge, I asked myself if she had any point but I found none.  It is a tissue of lies. There is no iota of truth in it. They said Osun government collected N538 billion.
“The judge does know the code of conduct of judicial officers. She dabbled into what she should not have dabbled into.
“For those thinking her allegations are true: assuming  without conceding that  Osun  collected  N10 billion in a month and we  have 48 months in four years, the total money collected in 48 months would  be N480 billion. That is not even up to N538 billion she claimed but we did not collect N10 billion a month, we did not even collect N5 billion.
“That fact deflates one of the lies. If the judge is telling lies, why could not  journalists check how much Osun is collecting from the records?  If I collected N538 billion, Osun would have been far better than how it is.”
He blamed former President Goodluck Jonathan for the economic woes the nation is experiencing now. He said the United States of America confirmed that one million barrels of crude oil was stolen on a daily basis.
Aregbesola also said he did not rule the state from outside. He said he did not junket around the world as alleged, saying he had  not gone on leave since he became the governor.
He said  “I used to travel to Cuba before I became governor. That was where my child schooled. But I traveled to Cuba last in 2005.”
He raised the hope of clearing the backlog of salaries the state is owing, saying “We will be free before the end of the month.”
He said he would “talk” after he might have paid the outstanding salaries.
Aregbesola had stopped the artiste invited from singing for him which is his usual style anytime he was called to make his speech.
He said he would not dance because of the backlash which his administration had received because  of the salary issues.

I am of the opinion that men of God should stick to the pulpit.

Religion and Politics do not mix, especially since we are not operating in a theocratic setting. Okorocha is an APC Governor, those in the APC do not loot or steal public fund.

Let the Governor concentrate on Governance please.
The religious leaders need to intervene, most of these big men go to church and mosque, the religious leaders need to talk teach them morals since they tend to "respect" them(religious leaders)
