Jobs/Vacancies / Job Opportunity In The Uk by copho(f): 7:13am On Oct 04, 2010
Moderator,

1. Not sure if my initial post was remove/taken down, as it is no longer in this section. If Yes, please may i know what i did wrong and why the post was taken down.

2. I am offering a genuine opportunity to those seeking employment in the UK. If you would like to know what the opportunity is about, why not contact me and ask me about it first, before taking down my post.

3. At least 20 people from Nairaland have contacted me about this opportunity so far and none of them have called me to accuse me of offering non-genuine offer.

I would really appreciate it if my initial post was put back up. If not, then it would remind me why it has taken me almost 4 years to find my way back to Nairaland.

If anyone in the UK is interested in a job opportunity, please contact me, provide your email address and i'll be happy to send you all the information about all the job opportunity.

Thank you.

There are problems in the US too. That has never stopped any American from celebrating the 4th of July. Instead they stand together and become more patriotic and grateful as each year passes by. Just saying.

God Bless you o!

you are not helping. can you ever imagine getting to 50 years of age and not achieve anything? no car, no place to live, no job, no husband and no children, would you be celebrating? i can bet my life that you would be crawled up in a corner pondering what happened? not throwing owambe party with borrowed money to celebrate being alive.

Are you saying Nigeria has not acheived anything at all in 50 years? and that you cannot see that we continue to acheive? Look to yourself and answer me this, are you not able to read and write because of Nigeria? Ok, fine you may have been more fortunate than others with a better education but the fact of the matter is every Nigerian who was born in Nigeria and continues to live in Nigeria or is now in the diaspora has been influenced positively in one way or another by Nigeria. We may not want to admit it, but it is the truth. And if you can look at yourself and find just one good thing Nigeria has done for you, then i am sure Nigeria has acheived in your life. If you cannot, then i say its a damn shame and pity, which makes my heart bleed for you. But all the same, i would urge you to do something in Nigeria that will have a positive effect on another's life, so that in another 50yrs they can be proud to say i am Nigerian because of what you did and you can be proud to be Nigerian becausde of the positive effect you have had on your country.

I am starting to sound like a politician :-). I will celebrate Nigeria at 50!

If you lived your life through ups and downs, and managed to still be alive in one peice at 50 years old, knowing that things are getting better and you still have a chance of someday being somebody, will you not celebrate?

Nigeria at 50 is definitely worth celebrating and i don't see any reason why i should not be celebrating. Rather than asking what has Nigeria ever done for me, i am asking what can i do for Nigeria.

I hope you all will be celebrating too :-)
Crime / Re: She's been raped. Who is to be blamed? by copho(f): 11:17pm On Jun 22, 2005
The more excuses we (as women) give for why we should be raped the more rapists would go on raping. There are nudist/naturist groups all over the western world, that have both sexes as members; I am yet to read about men in those groups who had to go about raping the women because they were naked. Rapists are sexually deprived mental cases in my opinion! Nobody deserves to be raped!

Rape is criminal. Rape is degrading. Rape is dehumanizing another person. It has nothing to do with nature!! There is no excuse for this. Any man who uses the excuse that a girl was dressed too provocatively should be shot dead in my opinion. Anybody who rapes does not need a girl dressed provocatively in order to do such a despicable act, they could act that way even if a girl is dressed in a burka; like mental cases, they've got issues and need psychiatric help. They need to be locked up and then put on a register if they are to be later released on to the general public again.

And this goes for members of both sexes, as girls have been known to be rapists too.

what would you do if you were best man/lady at a wedding and during the ceremony you needed to go to the loo urgently

I would go! either that or I miss the rest of the wedding because I peed on my beautiful dress

What would you do if your best friend is in an abusive relationship?
