Hi guys,

i have noticed that most roofing styles involve the use of Flat ridge caps in the roofing regardless whether it is step-tiles or metcoppo.

is it that the aluminium companies cannot produce better ridge-cap designs in Nigeria?

i say this because i have seen foreign ridge-caps which definitely look better than the flat ones.

First picture is the flat ridge cap( very common)

Well, we have a few samples of barrel shaped ridge cap in our warehouse but it is basically used mainly for stone coated roofing sheet and not on aluminum as you've written.

Barrel shaped ridge cap in contrast to Angle ridge cap is formed specially through barrel shaped forming machine as against the popular angular forming machine which is more rampant in this part of the world.

Moreover, looking at it very well, you will agree with me that they are shorter in length. For instance the ones we have in the warehouse is shorter that the regular 1.4 or 2 meter length of the angle ridge cap.
