i have noticed that most roofing styles involve the use of Flat ridge caps in the roofing regardless whether it is step-tiles or metcoppo.

is it that the aluminium companies cannot produce better ridge-cap designs in Nigeria?

i say this because i have seen foreign ridge-caps which definitely look better than the flat ones.

First picture is the flat ridge cap( very common)

second is a better looking design

But why not reinforced concrete slab serve as our roof. Could be beneficial in economic sense.

this is the only thing making me shy away from aluminium roofing.

The foreign type definitely looks beautiful. Maybe peopl have not been requesting the stepped design from the manufacturers. I have used the design but with stone coated tiles. This is a work we did in Port Harcourt.

Well, we have a few samples of barrel shaped ridge cap in our warehouse but it is basically used mainly for stone coated roofing sheet and not on aluminum as you've written.

Barrel shaped ridge cap in contrast to Angle ridge cap is formed specially through barrel shaped forming machine as against the popular angular forming machine which is more rampant in this part of the world.

Moreover, looking at it very well, you will agree with me that they are shorter in length. For instance the ones we have in the warehouse is shorter that the regular 1.4 or 2 meter length of the angle ridge cap.

What really kill Nigerians is they shine away from cost there by leaving the quality. well this barrel ridge gat its own demerit..... If this produce no engr or house owner want to pay for it.

Every both what roof of 2000 and aluminium of 1,200.

EVEN THE PRODUCTION OF COMPUTER RIDGE THEY WONT PAY FOR THE BENDING, BUT THE LOVE IT.
