maik99:When you get to the next question, you regret not moving on from the previous question as fast as possible because the next 2 or 3 are way easier lol. It's because one spent more seconds on the previous difficult questions that they'll be rushing the easier ones. I think SHL doesn't condone greed. If you want to take time to get all 18 correctly, you may rush 8 out of 18 answers. Just zero your mind that you don't need to be perfect, and move on. You'll be able to attempt more questions correctly without rushing the ones that are easier to get correctly. |
maik99:Not sure how it went but it was one of the fastest 20 minutes of my life. I slapped myself after the test. |
Eizzy003:Have you checked your spam folder? I got the link since Tuesday morning and took the test immediately. |
maik99:I have reasoned through many possibilities and the failure of the first batch does not seem to be the most likely reason for calling a second batch. I may be delusional, but I think their ATS eliminated some qualified candidates and they felt it would be unjust to let them go without giving them a chance, especially since some potential exceptional hires may be among them. I also think there is no cutoff mark yet. However, the probability of making it to the next stage may now be lower for the first batch of test tajers. Not because their performance was inadequate, but because it would now be more difficult to reach the 80th percentile or higher, as the case may be. |
airsaylongcome:No, we wouldn't have been contacted if we didn't have equal chance. In fact, the fact that we've been contacted after an initial decision makes us as eligible as anyone who wrote the test the first time and proves the fairness of the process. I think for there to be a 2nd batch of assessment, there was definitely a review by hiring team or management (don't know the structure) and nobody would waste hiring budget on potentials they're not willing to bet on. My question was just a search for reassurance and to lure you into giving me a response as you ignored my earlier quote (I succeeded ).Btw, I think that the barrier to entry would be higher if the reason for a second batch was not the performance of the first batch. |
airsaylongcome:What of the 2nd batch? |
airsaylongcome:I am among those scheduled to write the assessment after the first set of applicants. I was surprised that I wasn’t invited initially, even though I met all the application prerequisites. I assumed it was because I applied a day before the deadline. When I was eventually invited to write the assessment, I completed it within a few hours of receiving the test link lol. I wonder why you left the company. |
Helloworld123:Same here. |
If you have not received yet, what date did you apply? |

DollarDolapo:They sent emails to candidates who passed their Dragnet test today. |
chizzybee4:Not yet. |
chelseas370:Sent |
optimo:Sent |
chelseas370:I sent her an email. We can connect too, if you don't mind. When was your virtual interview? |
Gracelynn:I've sent an email. |
tungushebe:When we’re ready, we’re going to talk about how only 26% of the candidates who qualified were able to write the exams because the HR company contracted by FIRS to conduct the aptitude test lacked the capacity to plan and organize a virtual test of that scale. |
Amm14:You're good. |
Amm14:Did you submit successfully? |
HustleAbroad:How was numeracy for you? |
HustleAbroad:Yeah. Onscreen. If you use another calculator, you'll be logged out. |
Elihealth:Did you attempt all the questions? |
Scarletmoon01:Do you have an idea about the cutoff mark? I struggled with the numeracy section. |
