Edo State Govt got this one right... I was driving to Abraka from Benin City last month, my people traffic come hold me for Oka Market for Upper Sakponba... You need to see the pile of refuse on the entrance of that market and people were comfortable shedding market there...

What you said shows laxity on the side of the government, it does not need to wait till sanitation day because market generate refuse daily, government agency responsible supposed to evaquate such refuse at least every three days.

Please, I need your honest opinions and possible advice.
I live in a compound where there's a mechanic workshop and a man works as a car painter (spray painter), and he sprays cars regularly, sometimes several times a week. The smell is extremely strong, and it fills our rooms even when we shut all the windows. My children have started coughing persistently, and I suspect the constant exposure to these paint fumes is making things worse. I myself get headaches and nausea sometimes when the spraying is ongoing.
I recently read that car paint fumes contain harmful chemicals like isocyanates and VOCs, which can damage the lungs, cause long-term health problems, and are especially dangerous for kids. I'm genuinely scared for my children's health, but I don’t have the financial capacity to move right now. I just finished paying their school fees, and finding a new place these days is both stressful and expensive.
I’ve tried to manage, but this has become a serious concern. Is it even legal or safe to spray cars openly in a residential compound without any environmental protection or spray booth? Shouldn’t this kind of work be done in an auto workshop or controlled environment?

Please, I’m begging for advice:
-What can I do about this?
-Has anyone else experienced something similar?
-Is there any authority I can report to without escalating things into a fight?
-Am I overreacting, or do I have a valid reason to be worried?

This is affecting my peace of mind. I’m worried sick about the long-term effect on my family.

It's wrong for him to be spraying vehicles in such environment,

Politely inform him that it's affecting your family's Health and if he can get another place for such activity, if he resist inform the landlord about your concern and health implications of such activity.

Better still, you can use your landlord to inform him while you follow up.

What he is doing is a serious environmental pollution and it's not acceptable because of the hazard at such it's illegal

Environmental sanitation agency would be interested on this, but involve your landlord.

Note: it's not by fighting.

Two of you are not different because he was arrested for such offense and you had the mind to keep it away from his parents, why should they trust and allowed you into their house with such mind, again who knows what he has done again that he is stranded?

For me i would move far away from you.

Do you know some Christians that come late to work sometimes, may put an early time instead of putting the actual time they came to work? Christianity is not just about praying for hours, shouting fire, rolling on the floor during worship, dancing to praise God, speaking in tongues, serving seriously in church department, giving in church project, preaching well on the pulpit, reading bible e.t.c, it also entails being righteous, doing things that are righteous, avoiding exam malpractice, bribery, corruption. God will be happy if a genuine Christian fails an exam because he or she decides not cheat. He also wants the same Christian to do well in succeeding in the right way.

Christians should stop engaging in exam malpractice, bribery and corruption because it is a sin. It is a bad testimony that many Christians cannot endure the right way all because they need earthly benefits. God rewards those who obey Him, depend on Him and follow the right way.

Today is another day with a bright and beautiful chance. Please genuinely say this prayer " Lord Jesus Christ, I believe you are my provider and you can help me so much when I show integrity, please forgive all my sins and all the exam malpractice, bribery and corruption I have ever done. Please come into my life, break the yoke and power of sin in Jesus name. Amen"

Now what the governors are saying is that the money recoverd from Edo should be lodged into account where it would be shared with Kano State!

These are the same governors that would shield/hide information on how the former governor looted money and wants the ones that were recovered to be shared with them for Aluta-Continual
