I remembered when I got mine first, people said that she would never be aggressive because she was to playful with everyone but from my research I found out that it was just based on age. but when she got to give months, people could no longer enter our compound again, because she became very aggressive even to dogs passing by. As for her refusing to use a leash, first start by having a collar on his neck always then you can start by standing on a spot for a while then you move little by little, he will get used to it. he wasn't trained with walking on leashes that's why he's refusing to go with you. Training a pet requires patience and you'll have to sacrifice your time for it.

I bought this Caucasian shepherd 2 months ago. And since then this dog has been giving me headache. I put chain on him for a walk and he strangle himself with it and choke itself till I decide to remove the chain. He does not move when I put the chain even if I drag kaka e nor go shake.
Secondly security aspects. This dog na olodo. He plays with everybody and never barks at anyone. And that is annoying me badly
Please help me train this dog I don tire �

All of a sudden I’m seeing some injuries on my Caucasian pup. From nowhere.
And it’s spreading the fur is falling from the spot he has the injury. Please if you can help with this I’ll be very happy. Is this any kind of virus ?

If the dog didn't finish it, don't give him another food. Until you see clean plate before you give him another, so he will know that it's the routine no time to waste food.

He has been active lately and eating well a bit but not as how I want it to. I soaked the dry food and he ate a little. He must finish it cause I can’t lose that money

you need patience for a new pup to really eat anything, mine used to ignore before, but I can assure you that when he picks up ehn, na you go tire, you can soak the dry food overnight in water then put milk there in the morning.

Most people say I should not feed him eggs. But thanks for your advice. I’ll try soaking and see how it goes

I started with can food for mine last November when she came. I bought in cartons so it was slightly cheaper, after a week or so I introduced her to dry food I think Diamond,

she ate for a while and declined it after some weeks. I had to mix the dry food with meat based can food and we were back on business.

subsequently, I introduced house meal, like rice , Eba, noodles ( some vet shops sale the noodles @ 1k per kg) but meat is an integral part of the diet .

this wasn't an issue then cos we had a poultry so I had access to free eggs, intestine and flesh. Just avoid onion , and spices. for cheap meat negotiate with people that kill chickens , they ll give u enough portions 4 small change.

Some human food are poisonous to dogs, yes you can feed them Eba, but why not go for their food so you will see the vitality you are looking for.
