Hello Folu, thank you for the advice..

However, I just need you to clarify this for me..
Is it possible that this feedback is for your department only, or maybe PTs only?

Because I'm tied up, like massively for the next 3 weeks at least n this information would be a massive relief. If only I could complete what I've got at hand (which is in a different state) ND return by next month end to complete my registration, without much implications.

To be honest sir, the decision is yours. Secondary market stems from primary investors calling up funds and the financial institution swapping the remainder of the portfolios. Considering these are historical placements, the interests may be higher but expectedly, the bank will take its own margins, offer you yours and cancel off any costs of the swap.. so you may very marginally find it close to what current primary market rates are. Truth be told, banks are in it to make money and you have little choice but to take what you are given. So in answer to your question, when you see the rates and tenor, you will know.

And to your second question, call up FBank early in the morning by 10am and you will get a secondary rate for that day
Okay..
Thank you, as I learnt a lot from this as well.
I just have a simple question though.
I quoted the question that warranted this answer yesterday, and one of the responses mentioned some salient points and one of them just struck me and I've been thinking.
Is it wrong to invest for the sake of being wealthy? By wealthy, I mean having enough money to take care of yourself, family and others who will come your way. And also of course expanding your interests and investments.
Because the person kind of mentioned, what is your intention for desiring to trade in T Bills. I don't know about others, but mine is as mentioned above.
I hope it's a good one, and I pray it's possible that TBills, along with other wise investments can take me there.

Good morning guys,

I have some money i want to stash away for a project i am hoping to embark on by March next year.

But i have never been a fan of saving money in the bank at all, so Treasury bills is topmost on my mind.

The sum is around 400k. How best do i proceed? Which bank would you recommend? What tenor is best?

Please advise me, guys.
