The first step towards figuring out why a guy or a lady has blocked you on social media is to discover the possible reason why it has happened.

Perhaps it’s something you have said or done to him, or it could relate more towards what his feelings are for you.

If you care about him/her and want to continue talking to him/her. You need to discover the real reason behind it so you can fix things, or try to move on.
i have made a little research and come up with some possible reasons why a guy or a lady has blocked you on social media, below are some reasons a guy or girl will block you.

1. You are an unknown person.
Trying to hit on someone from an unknownhandle or number(whatsapp etc),and he/she is not interested probably youhave met before and you went ahead to get his/her contact on social media without the right consent by asking directly.
There are a lot of handsome guys and beautiful cute girls online both on Facebook and Whatsapp. If you are a person who has not introduced himself well yet, and you hit on her, this might send a very wrong signal about your personality and you may look like a desperate guy. So I would advise you to go slow and steady. As the proverb goes: "Slow and Steady, Wins the race".

2. You are acting creepy.
If you fall in this category, you are doomed until you change your behavior and the way you communicate.Creepy traits and behaviors include: Standing too close to someone. Smiling peculiarly.looking at someone with many things going on in your head while sending wrong signals,Talking too much about a topic, especially sex. I would just recommend you to ask your friends and let them decide whether you fall in this category or not. And if they say yes, please go to your nearest personality development classes and stop using Whatsapp and Facebook until you complete your course.

3. You are asking inappropriate questions.
I know that you might be a curious person and you are unable to stop your horses from asking a question. But think again, the question that you are going to ask might have a vulgar meaning or a meaning that you don't intend to ask. So think before asking anything to anyone.


4. He/She Loves you too much.
If He/She has blocked you, then it does not necessarily means that they hate you. He/She might have developed strong feeling for you and fallen in love with you. they might not be sure about their feeling and may be they are trying to get a grasp of the situation. In case you see any symptoms of this happening, be sure to confront HE/SHE and tell them how you feel.


5. Your Messages are too frequent.
You may be a very interesting person and He/She even likes you. But remember the phrase, Anything in excess acts like a poison. If you add a lot of salt to a dish you cooked, it may taste bitter. Same would happen if you message lady/guy frequently. Eventually He/She will get pissed at you and block you. To avoid this from happening, try to distract yourself from He/She doing something productive.

6. For ladies when you have too many plans for the future.
The moment men think that a person is going to be the one that will mark the future, when a lady begins to begin to imagine her life with him. Although at the beginning ladies carry in silence, some are already beginning to name children from the first day they meet. Men, generally, do not take it with that vision, wanting to cut with the healthy person who attempts against his own fun and youth in such an unattractive way.



7. You tried to hack His/her social media Or You are Spying on her Whatsapp ID.
I know that hacking is very interesting, and you might have learned a trick or two to get into someone's account without permission and spy on them. But wait for a second, this might be offensive.

8. You have a weird sense of humor.
You may be thinking that you have a very good sense of humor because you were able to make your friend laugh a lot, but be cautious. One bad joke on His/her looks or weight and you will get blocked in an instant.


9. You said something that hurts
It is very common for us to think that men are going to show themselves in a firm, hard way and that they are capable of fitting any blow. But the reality is that they tend to be much more susceptible than they seem, reaching the point where they can be bothered by a comment, by an action or even by a glance to the point of leaving the word forever


10.He/she is a coward
To end a relationship, friendship or courtship can be something very delicate and always requires great doses of tact and courage. Unfortunately, many people simply prefer to take the alternative of cutting it off, blocking anyone as long as they do not engage in a conversation that might not come off very well.

11. He has a new partner
If a boy tries to flirt with a girl, he may do so through loving, attentive and even daring messages. But if another woman comes forward and starts a relationship with him, he may try to eliminate all traces of competition.


12. He/she is tired of seeing your status updates about your meals, your workouts, and everything else that you are doing. Some people prefer simplicity and constant updates clog their feeds. Don’t take it personally; just shrug it off and move on.

13. He/she is no longer interested and doesn’t want you digging around. There is normally a confrontation of some sort before this happens like a break-up, or an argument. Or maybe you know he was just cheating on your best friend and He/she doesn’t want that info leaking.


14. He/she got what he wanted from you and doesn’t care to see you anymore. This is well-known as the old hump ‘n dump. If a guy or lady is only after one thing and gets it, He/she has no use for you anymore. That is, unless a time comes around that He/she wants to get it again and then he’ll suddenly come back around.


15. He/she Wants You To Notice
He/she blocked you on social media because they wants you to notice. He/she is looking for a reaction from you, and want’s you to feel fully curious about why they have done this.

16. Not Ready For A Relationship
He/she is not ready to talk and feels overwhelmed by your interest. If a guy or lady blocks you right when you start confessing your feelings. It could be a sign that they just are not ready for a relationship.


17.Wants You To Miss Him
When He/she blocks you on social media, it may be because He/she wants to be missed by you. He/she wants you to miss talking ,seeing new posts, photos, and messages.


18.Scared Of Rejection
If a guy asks you out on a date and starts confessing his feelings for you. He might block you if he’s scared you’ll reject him. Especially if he believes he’s not going to get the answer he was looking for from you.


19. He/she is Angry With You
He/she blocked you because of an obvious anger with you, and want’s to make it known.

20. Jealousy
If He/she is jealous of you, or envious of how you live your life.He/she may decide to block you to stop himself from having these thoughts or feelings.

21.Afraid Of Your Actions, Or Your Words
When He/she knows that your words and your actions can have a powerful emotional impact. He/she may choose to block you unexpectedly to save his or herself from hurt.

22. Doesn’t Know How To Reject You
When someoone doesn’t know how to politely reject you, or let you know they don’t share your feelings. they might decide to block you because it’s an easy escape.

23. Confused About Emotions
When He/she doesn’t know what to wants or need, emotionally you are pulling him/she in one direction and then the other.He/she could block you on social media because the feeling is confusing.
