Omoawoke:You’re right that laws are created by humans, and that power often determines who gets punished and who doesn’t. History is full of double standards: some leaders commit atrocities and are held accountable, while others commit worse crimes and escape consequences because of military, economic, or political influence. But that doesn’t mean law, justice, or morality are meaningless. The fact that powerful nations can act with impunity highlights the weakness of the system, not the absence of right and wrong. Laws, treaties, and norms exist to limit power and protect the vulnerable, even if they are imperfectly enforced. For example, what the U.S. did in Japan during World War II or in Iraq shows that power can shield some from accountability. That is a real problem. But recognizing that injustice doesn’t justify illegal actions by anyone else. If every state acted solely on power, the world would be in constant chaos, and no one, weak or strong, would be safe. Power may dictate what is “legal” in practice, but justice, fairness, and morality still matter , because without them, societies collapse, trust erodes, and violence becomes endless. In short: power can bend the law, but law and morality define what should be done, not just what can be done. |
Is this kind of action dangerous for world peace, fairness, and justice? Yes, it is. When powerful countries ignore international law and forcibly remove people from other nations without consent or legal process, it weakens the global system meant to keep peace. International law exists to protect all countries, especially weaker ones, from abuse by stronger states. If such actions are tolerated, they create a dangerous precedent. Other nations may feel justified in doing the same, leading to retaliation, instability, and conflict. Instead of law governing international relations, power begins to rule. This also damages fairness and justice. The law appears selective, applied to weak states but ignored by powerful ones. That double standard erodes trust in global institutions like the United Nations and international courts. For lasting peace, rules must matter more than power. When power replaces law, the world becomes less stable, less fair, and far more dangerous. |
So who has the power to prosecute this kind of violation or illegality? In theory, international law provides mechanisms, but in practice, power is limited. First, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) can hear cases between states, not individuals. That means Venezuela could bring a case against the United States for violating its sovereignty. However, the ICJ cannot arrest anyone and relies on states to comply with its rulings. Second, the International Criminal Court (ICC) prosecutes individuals, but only for specific crimes like genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity. Kidnapping or illegal transfer alone usually does not qualify, and the United States does not recognize ICC jurisdiction. Third, the United Nations Security Council can authorize investigations or sanctions. The problem is that powerful countries have veto power. If the accused country or its allies veto action, nothing happens. Fourth, some countries use universal jurisdiction, meaning their national courts can try serious international crimes. But again, this depends on politics and enforcement. So the reality is this: International law exists, but enforcement depends on power, not fairness. Strong nations are rarely prosecuted; weak nations are. That is why many violations of international law are acknowledged but never punished, not because they are legal, but because there is no higher authority above powerful states. |
Was the way Maduro was taken out of his country legal?” Under international law, the answer is mostly no. A country is not allowed to send agents or forces into another sovereign nation to seize someone and take them away without that country’s consent, without extradition, or without United Nations authorization. Doing so violates national sovereignty under the UN Charter. There are only three legal ways to remove someone from their country: extradition, consent of the government, or a recognized international court warrant. If none of these happened, then the act of taking the person is considered illegal under international law. Now here’s the contradiction: Under U.S. domestic law, courts often proceed with trials once a suspect is in custody, even if the method of capture was unlawful internationally. So the bottom line is this: The removal itself would be illegal under international law, but a U.S. court may still continue the case. This situation exposes the tension between international law and raw power and shows how legality can depend on who is judging it. |
Whether President of Venezuela,Nicolás Maduro’s arrest is legal depends on which law you are talking about. Under U.S. law, the United States claims it has the right to prosecute Maduro for drug trafficking. Once a suspect is in U.S. custody, American courts usually proceed with the case, even if the arrest itself is controversial. However, under international law, the situation is very different. Most legal experts argue that arresting a sitting foreign president without that country’s consent or United Nations approval violates international law. International law protects national sovereignty and generally gives immunity to sitting heads of state. So, while the U.S. may consider the prosecution lawful under its own system, many countries and legal scholars see the arrest as illegal under international law. In short: Legal domestically for the U.S,but highly questionable, and likely illegal, under international law.

No pastor on earth has the biblical right to demand, enforce, or collect tithes.
Why? Because tithing in the Bible was never given to pastors or churches. Open your Bible and see it for yourself. Numbers 18:21 “I have given the tithe to the children of Levi.” Not to pastors. Not to apostles. Not to bishops. Not to Gentile believers. It was a command strictly for the Levitical priesthood under Moses. And remember, tithes were agricultural produce, not money. Deuteronomy 14:22 to 29 shows clearly that tithes were grain, wine, oil, livestock, and other farm produce given for the Levites, the poor, the widows, and the strangers. So when a modern pastor stands on a stage and demands ten percent of your salary, he is preaching a law God never gave him. Now listen carefully to what the New Testament says. When Jesus died and rose again, the entire priesthood system changed. Hebrews 7:12 “When the priesthood is changed, the law must be changed also.” If the priesthood changed, and it did, then the law of tithing that supported that priesthood also ended. This is why you never see Jesus collecting tithes. You never see the apostles collecting tithes. You never see the early church paying tithes. You never see Gentile Christians commanded to tithe. Search your Bible. It is not there. Peter never said, “Church, bring your tithes.” Paul never demanded, “Pay your ten percent.” John never wrote, “You are cursed if you do not tithe.” Instead, the apostles taught free-will giving, not compulsory tithing. Second Corinthians 9 verse 7 says “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion.” If a pastor uses Malachi chapter 3 to frighten you, remember this. Malachi was speaking to the priests of Israel who were stealing God’s offerings, not to Christians living under grace. Pastors today are not Levites. They are not priests of the Old Covenant. They have no authority to enforce a law that Jesus fulfilled and ended. So understand this clearly. Tithing is Old Covenant. Free-will giving is New Covenant. A true pastor feeds the flock, he does not fleece the flock. A true shepherd leads by example, he does not threaten people with curses. A true minister depends on God, not manipulation. Give from your heart. Give willingly. Give joyfully. But do not let any man force you into a law Jesus never put you under. You are free in Christ.

The rate of fake news in Nigeria is alarming |
Chief Willie Obiano is not dead. The former Governor of Anambra State is alive, hale, and hearty. A statement issued on his behalf by Paul Nwosu, PhD, confirms that Chief Obiano is in excellent health and has personally reassured his family members, friends, political associates, and supporters that there is absolutely no cause for alarm. The rumour circulating on social media claiming that he has passed away is completely false and should be dismissed by the public. Chief Obiano has made it clear that there is no truth in the story, and he remains grateful to everyone who reached out in concern. The statement condemns those responsible for spreading the fake news, describing it as a reckless act of mischief aimed at creating panic and attracting cheap online attention. Such behaviour, it notes, is unacceptable and deeply regrettable. The public is therefore urged to disregard the rumour entirely. Chief Willie Obiano remains well, in good spirits, and appreciative of the goodwill, prayers, and support shown during this moment of unnecessary misinformation.

1. I Am the Lord your God — you shall not give your heart to anyone or anything above Me. Not to your phone, your status, your career, your pastor, or your desires. I alone am your Source, Creator, and Savior. 2. You shall not worship man-made images, celebrities, ideologies, or digital idols. Don’t bow to fame, filters, influencers, political icons, or artificial intelligence. I seek those who worship Me in spirit and in truth. 3. You shall not misuse My name or twist My Word to justify your sin. Do not speak of Me carelessly, mock My holiness, or call evil good. Do not use “grace” as a license to rebel. 4. You shall set apart a day each week to disconnect from the world and reconnect with Me. Rest. Reflect. Worship. Unplug from your devices and plug into My presence. 5. You shall honor your parents and spiritual authorities, unless they lead you against Me. Respect order, even in a rebellious generation. Do not cancel those who speak My truth in love. 6. You shall not murder — with weapons, with words, or with hate in your heart. Do not kill with gossip, abortion, bitterness, or neglect. Choose life and love in all things. 7. You shall not defile your body or another's with lust, porn, or unholy relationships. Sex is My covenant gift — not for entertainment or escape. Purity is strength, not shame. 8. You shall not steal — not from people, not from Me, not even online. Respect time, privacy, content, and honesty. Return what belongs to Me: your tithe, your time, your talents. 9. You shall not lie — not in person, not on social media, not even to yourself. I am Truth. Speak it. Live it. Even when it costs you followers. 10. You shall not envy the lives, bodies, relationships, or success of others. What you see online is not always real. Rejoice in your portion — I am your Shepherd; you shall not lack. --- ✨ Closing Declaration from God to This Generation: “I am still the same God of Sinai, but I speak now through My Spirit, My Word, and My Son Jesus. These laws are not to chain you — they are to free you. Obey them, and you will live. Reject them, and you walk the path of Lucifer.” |
Hey family, Let this verse sink in today: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom. That means true wisdom doesn’t come from books, degrees, or fame—it starts with reverence for God. When you truly fear God—not in terror, but in awe, love, and obedience—you begin to see life differently. You make better choices. You see through deception. And it says the knowledge of the holy is understanding. If you want true understanding in this chaotic world, seek to know the Holy One—Jesus Christ. So today, choose to walk in reverence. Let your steps be guided by wisdom that comes from honoring God. That’s the foundation for a powerful and purposeful life. 🙏
