Phones › Re: Samsung J6 Or Nokia X5 by credon: 4:00pm On Dec 08, 2018 |
bluemoon99: Between Samsung J6 and Nokia X5 which will you advice me to buy?
Samsung J6 specs:

Price = N57000
Nokia X5 specs
- 5.86 Inch 19:9 2.5D HD+ Full Screen, 1520*720 Pixel - Helio P60 MTK6771 2.0GHz Octa Core - Support Touch ID - Support Face ID - 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM, Support 256GB TF Card Expansion - 13 MP & 5 MP Dual Back Camera + 8 MP Front Camera - Android 8.1 System - 3060mAh Battery - Dual SIM: NANO SIM + NANO SIM / TF Card (Another SIM Slot Can Be Used in Combination with a NANO SIM Card or a TF Card) - Band: GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz, WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100MHz, FDD-LTE B1/B3/B5/B8, Support 2G & 3G & 4G LTE Network
Price = 47000 There is an unfortunate problem with phones these days most especially with Nigerian users.. This has do with "hybrid trays" use only 2 sims and no sd card or one sim and one sd card on a 32gb or 64gb internal memory. I dont know if the Samsung has a dedicated sd card slot but based on your explanation the Nokia is no for me except if you are a single sim user and don't play large size games, plenty songs/videos.. Then go for the nokia. |

Phones › Re: 5 Phones The World Will Never Forget by credon: 10:38am On Mar 03, 2018 |
Ugoeze2016: No long talk, we are giving you a list of the phones that graced the world with applause. These phones will never be forgotten, and our lives have become better since these devices were introduced. Take a look.
1. https://zokija.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/nokia.png Nokia 3310 What makes this phone legendary isn’t the spec or whatever design we see on new devices these days. Nokia 3310 was just unique on its own. It was a very strong device that could hardly be broken or spoilt. It was the perfect phone for Nigerians, and everyone had or craved one. You would hardly find a better phone than the Nokia 3310. Even now, the latest edition has been manufactured with many consumers trooping to buy the device. Will there ever be a stronger phone than Nokia 3310?
2.https://zokija.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/samsung-d500.jpg Samsung D500 Samsung Electronics announced the release of this phone in 2004. It was among the first generation of phones that the company produced. It is very portable with a screen size of 94x46x23 mm and weighs about 99g. The South Korea based company produced the phone with a 96MB shared memory for photos, videos etc. and 4MB for java. The phone transfer data both through Infrared and Bluetooth. It is arguably one of the first sliding phones. However, it created a new niche for itself. The design was way better than others, and the display was top notch. This was the phone you would see with the affluent around 2005 and 2006.
3.https://zokija.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/nokia-5130.jpg Nokia Xpress Music Nokia released the phone on February, 2009. The display size was 2.0 inches with resolution of 240 ×320 pixels. The memory is a micro SD with a capacity of up to 16GB despite its small size. Xpress Music was the highest-selling phone of its time. The phone took the market by storm, and was considered the ideal phone for every user.
4.https://zokija.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/tecno-tv.jpg Tecno TV Phones Who remembers those phones everyone was crazy about back in those days. About 10 years ago, Tecno came to the scene with offerings of phones that could be connected as TV sets. You can literally watch as many channels as possible. They had antennas and filled the market with various sizes and specs. It is interesting how these phones don’t exist anymore. They opened the doors for Tecno to take on the Nigerian market.
5.https://zokija.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/apple-first.png Apple iPhone (Ist Generation) On June 29, 2007, Steve Apple co-founder presented the first iPhone to the world. The phone is the first smartphone and opened the smartphone industry to the likes of Google, Samsung and more. “Apple reinvents the phone.” ”This is just the beginning” were the slogan of the iPhone.
Conclusion
The technology landscape has shifted massively from what it used to be. The above named phones brought to life the smart phones and devices we use today. Thanks to these phones, consumers now have lots of choices to pick from. We may have missed some phones; kindly let us know if there is any phone you think deserves a place in the list by commenting below.
Culled from: http://zokija.com/blog/5-phones-the-world-will-never-forget/ am wondering what that tecno phone is doing on the list when your saying "the WORLD will never forget" |

Romance › Re: I Am A Feminist!! by credon: 8:48am On Feb 28, 2018 |
trustyshoess: I know you're here for my head but hear me out first. So in the space on an hour, I have come across two threads relating to feminism. This is not a counter or anything as everyone is entitled to their own opinion. However I can't help but put my 2 cents in. I seriously believe that feminism is highly misunderstood
First things first, let's define feminism; it is the advocacy of women's rights on the ground of the equality of the sexes. Notice it doesn't say feminism is a drive towards matriarchy? Well that's simple, it's not.
There are many different types of feminism but I won't be discussing all of them as that will take too much time so I urge you to use good old Google! So I think that the kind of feminism that people think of when they hear Feminism is Radical Feminism-: Radical feminism is a movement that believes sexism is so deeply rooted in society that the only cure is to eliminate the concept of gender completely or for females to dominate.
Now that's not the kind of feminism I'm talking about. Another type of Feminism is Liberal Feminism. Liberal feminists strive towards gender equality in all areas of life. Gender equality includes men too!
So why am I a feminist? Or why do I believe in gender equality? No, it's not because I believe that men and women are equal or because I'm against submissiveness or because I want female world domination (although that would be pretty cool) I believe in gender equality for the same reason I believe in racial equality, tribal equality and anything that has to do with fairness in general.
Of course men and women are not equal, physicality being the main difference but they're both humans and both deserve to be treated equally as a result.
Believe me there's soo much more to say, but I don't want to make this too long. Feel free to ask questions, let's see if I can get you to see why feminism isn't all that bad
Give Femism a chance, it's not as bad as people make it out to be. We all should be feminists, we all should be striving towards equality Na so girls wey dem circumcise dey do,dey go online and start talking feminism. its not our fault dat ur pleasure was cut short na,please try and move on with life that way |
