I think balance is key to everything in life and that includes a relationship. many fellows here seem to be on both sides of extremity ( the "money is all that is needed" people and "money is not needed people"). I think the picture the op is trying to paint is that of girls groveling at his feet, giving unfettered access to the "cookie jar" because he's got money. I don't believe that constitutes what love is. Hence broke guys can fall in love but they must try to improve their lot because money helps avoid unnecessary relationship strains.
