I don't think the term "secondary sexual characteristics" means they can be exposed simply because science isn't in the business of telling us "how to behave". well here's my hypothesis ......(from an evolutionary perspective) .in our cave dwellers' society the men were the hunters so....to get food the women wud av had to offer sexual favours...... perhaps jumping from one man to another. they got pregnant(since there were no contraceptives). these men wud av being sceptical of taking care of a woman and her child since he wasn't sure the child was his. To solve this problem, marriage and strict laws of fidelity came on board ( for the women)and this might explain why fidelity rules r more relaxed for men

Assuming two fellows are in a no sex relationship... and one of them starts frolicking with another member of the opposite sex...going by what u said, since they don't own themselves because they r not married, the other partner doesn't av a right to accuse the erring partner of prospective unfaithfulness....... then one of the core principles of man - woman relationship has been attacked... in other words we shud nt go into relationships but marry whoever we want at once. I actually typed "Science does not claim to know EVERYTHING". I do not want to write another lengthy write-up, so I will keep it simple. Change is welcome in science as long as it is proven. Very different from religion.
Religion says it has all the answers, Science says it's looking for more answers. A lot of things can't be explained by Science, it is why there are ongoing research. It is why you did or will do a project during your tertiary education depending on your current level of education. The project is to seek an explanation of some unresolved occurrence or to formulate a solution to an existing problem.
In contrast, if you were to seek an explanation or want to figure out a solution, religion says pray to God and fast. It's funny, pastors commute with cars and private jets. Geez, why don't they just "pray to God and fast" to get from one place to another? This paragraph is directed to those who had no meaningful contribution to make than use the cliché "pray to God and fast" or something similar.

Durentt, it isn't a scientific fact yet that people are born with homosexual inclinations... All we av yet are hypotheses....scientific guess work for or against. Although I must say that the scientific work that disproves genetic homosexual makeup is more scientifically coherent based on the fact that basically all living things that engage in sexual reproduction do so primarily because they need to preserve their species and not for the pleasure (infact not many living things derive pleasure from sexual reproduction). And if we must perpetuate our species.. Homosexual relationships may be an aberration that is unaccounted for genetically
