Certainty of any Religious believe largely depends on what their book teaches. The question now is, is their any portion of the Qur'an that encourage killing of innocent soul? If NO, then the problem is not with Islam. May be we should study the world history before we make any conclusion.

@ Onstelly, please read Jeremiah 31 verse 9 you will see that Jesus is NOT the only son of God, the verse state that Ephraim is His FIRST BORN.
@ Exponental, as for John 3 verse 16, who is talking, God or a third party? If you examine the verse very well you will see that third person pronoun is used, which means, the verse is not from God Almighty but one of those verses in the bible to mislead people.
These verses and some other ones in the bible point to the fact that the issue of sonship and trinity is baseless even in the bible
