IslamRe: The Best Generations Were The Best To Their Parents! by Crucialgem(m): 3:34pm On Jul 03
dallasi:
The early Muslims are not some untouchable class of super-saints. They were a dysfunctional, blood-soaked, sect-birthing mess—and it's time we called it what it is. The only thing "golden" about them is the glossy paint later scholars slapped over their catastrophic failures.

1. "They Saw the Prophet" – And Still Chose Disbelief
Oh, how we weep with envy that they laid eyes on Muhammad ﷺ! And what did they do with that privilege? The Qur'an scorches them repeatedly:

"And if they see a sign, they turn away and say, 'Continuous magic.'" (Qur'an 54:2)
"They have hearts with which they do not understand, eyes with which they do not see..." (Qur'an 7:179)

They saw miracles. They heard revelation. And still, they mocked, plotted, and fought him at every turn. Even among those who eventually "believed," many were hypocrites (munafiqun) whom the Qur'an consigns to the lowest pit of Hell. So spare me the reverence. If physical proximity to prophecy couldn't cure their spiritual blindness, what exactly are we glorifying? Their obstinacy?

2. Unity? They Couldn't Even Protect Their Own Leaders
Let's tally the body count, shall we?

· Umar ibn al-Khattab – stabbed to death by a Persian slave while leading Fajr prayer. A Muslim killed the second greatest caliph.
· Uthman ibn Affan – besieged for weeks, then butchered in his own home with the Qur'an in his lap. His blood stained the very pages. His killers? Fellow Muslims, thirsty for power.
· Ali ibn Abi Talib – struck on the head with a poisoned sword while prostrating. His assassin? A Kharijite—another Muslim who thought Ali had betrayed God.

And let's not forget Aisha, the Prophet's own wife—slandered in the Hadith of Ifk by her own community, then later leading an army against Ali at the Battle of the Camel. She fought her own "brother" in faith.

So here's my question: If this is the "best generation," why couldn't they stop murdering each other? If they couldn't safeguard their own divinely guided leaders, what makes you think they safeguarded anything else?

3. They Gave Us Sects – And Called It "Diversity"
The Sunni-Shia split? Their doing. The Kharijite extremism? Their doing. The endless blood feuds over who had the right to rule? All started in their backyard.

They didn't merely tolerate division—they forged it. They cursed one another from minbars. They declared rival factions kuffar. They fought battles over political succession as if the caliphate were a tribal chieftainship, not a divine trust.

And today, we Muslims are still butchering each other from Iraq to Yemen, from Nigeria to Pakistan—all because these "pious forefathers" couldn't sit down like men and resolve a leadership dispute. Their inability to agree has cost us 1,400 years of blood. Thank you, O blessed generation.

4. Their Legacy? Chaos, Hatred, and Eternal Infighting
Let's inventory their bequest to the ummah:

· Political assassinations as standard practice.
· Sectarian identities that override Qur'anic brotherhood.
· A tradition of declaring anyone who disagrees with you a heretic.
· Wars that never end because the wounds they opened were never healed.

They left us not a unified nation (ummah), but a fractured, paranoid, trigger-happy collection of warring factions. They handed us a sword and told us to turn it on each other—and we've been obliging ever since.

5. The Qur'an Warned Us About People Like Them
Do you think God was impressed by their behavior? Read the Qur'an again:

"Muhammad is not but a messenger. [Other] messengers have passed on before him. So if he was to die or be killed, would you turn back on your heels [in disbelief]?" (Qur'an 3:144)

Right after the Prophet's death, many did turn back—apostasy wars, tribal rebellions, fake prophets popping up like mushrooms. Abu Bakr had to wage war just to keep the whole enterprise from collapsing. That's your golden generation? A people who needed a sword to their necks to stay Muslim?

6. Compare Them to Us – And Watch Them Crumble
Today, ordinary Muslims in ordinary towns pray five times, fast, give charity, and struggle to raise their children upon La ilaha illallah. They have never seen the Prophet, never heard revelation directly, yet they cling to faith against a world that mocks them daily.

And these "illustrious" Companions? They had every advantage—divine guidance, prophetic presence, living revelation—and they still descended into civil war, backstabbing, and schism.

We may be weak, but at least we didn't start this fire. They handed us the match.

Final Confrontation
So no—I do not bow to your sanctified narrative. I do not tip my hat to a generation that failed so spectacularly on every measure that matters: unity, morality, leadership, and legacy.

If you still believe they are "the best of generations," then you are either wilfully blind or dangerously dishonest. Because the evidence—Qur'anic, historical, and empirical—screams otherwise.

Let them be remembered for what they were: flawed humans who had a chance to build an eternal nation and instead built a graveyard of Muslim-on-Muslim violence.

We owe them nothing but a hard, honest look in the mirror—and then we turn away and build something better
You people are easily known shi'te may Allah guide you into what is right

[Hey geekybabe I'm currently going through all this I'd love it if you can help me quote author=geekybabe post=88802879]Haney2, first take a deep breathe.

Acid reflux /GERD is a different ball game. Its more difficult and scary because all the pain and discomfort is all happening in your chest and attimes you wonder if its your heart. Lol. With your research I'm sure you know now that it is really just Gerd and it can be Nasty.

The approach to managing GERD is different. Because even if you treat it, anytime you eat something that irritates your digestive system and causes acid to flow back up into your oesophagus, you are literally back to discomfort. The palpitations are bad. Spasms. Involuntary muscle reflexes. Back pain. Behind the breast bone. Mid chest. Lol. I know. Just calm down. You cannot even afford to had stress and anxiety to the mix. When i first had palpitations as a result of side effects from nexium, i was scared. I landed in d ER. But palpitations are not harmful. They are discomforting and irritating but not harmful. So dont stress. Jist focus on treating your gerd. The palpitations will go. Taking buscopan attimes helps with the palpitations and spasms.

Dont eat hot meals. Don't eat spicy
Avoid soft drinks and alcohol.
Avoid any kind of oily foods.
Eat soft meals and make sure you really chew your food completely before swallowing. Except for maybe swallow meals with draw soup.

At night, try to elevate your upper body and sleep on your left side. Read it somewhere online and it helps. There is also the dry cough that comes as a result of acid flowing back up into your throat. Be mindful of that and overtime once you identify your trigger foods, you will know how to manage your self. Keep a food diary. Trust me, it helps.

Anxiety and stress makes your stomach acid levels secret more. So just try to relax and not be too anxious. Play music. Meditate. And try not to think about it too much. Overtime you wont even remember the GERD is there.

There's this suspension that works like magic for GERD. Its called sulcrafate. (sold under the brandname Ulsanic). Not sure its in Nigeria, but u can ask around. but my doc recommended it for me and i have it as backup for days when i have flares. It is not an antacid like gestid and co. It actually treats gerd. If you can't find it, use gaviscon to get relief when you have heartburn.

If the unripe plantain solution helps thats fine. I used it years back. Your lifestyle changes are more important than remedies and overtime with adjustments, you'll get better.

Keep well..
This are exactly my symptoms

Oh my God, thank you so much for this, I was rushed to lasuth yesterday and I spent over 100k

Jman06:
He didn't speak right! He lied; either deliberately or ignorantly due to the recent feminists-sponsored "research" publication. All these falsehoods are just attempts by feminists to shift the blame of infertility to men, even when we know that women are the major culprits in infertility among couples.

I have seen cases where a woman connived with her doctor to accuse her husband of being responsible for their infertility. If not that the man has a medical laboratory scientist friend who ran fertility test on him and the result showed he was very much fertile, he would have been made to live with the shame of believing he couldn't father a child.
Do you have evidence to back your claim that majority of the infertility cases is from female. Aside age do you u know what the male gender engage in that reduce there low sperm count

You can't go on with baseless claim, men smoke, drink, opueh up and down and all sorts of

HealthMy Friend Slim Escape Of HIV Experience by Crucialgem(op): 6:56pm On Jul 20, 2025
So I saw the story of the guy that was scared to do his HIV test made me remember the story of this my guy

So this guy is a grade one womanizer like those staunch one thats always scrolling dating site to look for new catch. So on this occasion he re connected with this long time babe that was a friend to one of his girl back then, so they exchanged number and they started calling and chatting(Just his normal routine if he doesn't want to spend much money for HK) the girl was staying alone so apparently he was planning a visit to her crib. A day before going he uploaded her picture and and put a sort of emoji that showed they were together, boom his old time girl that he knew the babe from just DMed him and was asking him if he was now going out with the girl

He just thought probably she was jealous and all and started giving her straight answers, Omo!! The girl just burst the guy bubbles that she was HIV positive at first he thought the lady was bad-mouthing the girl not until the girl started sending evidences to him of her HIV test results Omo!!!! my guy nearly run mad

This was the girl he was supposed to go and see the next day and Omo I can bet my balls that he was going to lay her that next day and I am not sure he is a condom guy

He confronted the girl and all, at first she was denying it when he sent her the test results she started confessing that ehnn she did it a long time but it wasnt real that she has been praying about it, but then he had seen her with those HIV drug before but he wasn't sure so na when katakata burst he reconnected all the story together

Guys lets play safe outside there. Omo anytime I remember that story it is always giving me chills. If you see the particular girl she is just a normal girl you can approach on the road they don't write this thing for head ooo.
