FTC Now we're talking, this is a welcome development especially back home in the south east Wow! |
Now I ask you,how many functional libraries do we have around now? Let me use my area for example in Lagos. Instead of you to be saying the government should create libraries in every town in the Federation. helinues: |
For you all saying students don't read their books any longer in this age, you're very wrong. Don't just generalize the failure you've seen from 5 to 10 persons to judge the whole Gen Z. PS: I'm one of them too. Students now read on their phones. We use to internet to our advantage too. I also did my UTME exams this year too,I scored 344.Most of us who read our books are constantly bullied by our peers when we say we're reading. In their words they say "Will you be paid for this?". Who we should be blaming here is not the students but the government and people in power.Greater rewards should be given on the grounds of academic excellence rather than embracing mediocrity.Personally,i believe that if academic excellence is rewarded in Nigeria the Gen Z will sit up. |
