SportsWhy Man Utd Superstar Is Reminiscent Of Muhammad Ali by CrunchTimez(op): 12:52pm On Aug 26, 2016
Paul Pogba could have sealed a £89m world record deal to return to his boyhood club, Man Utd, making him the current holder of the title - the world's most expensive footballer, however, one man who stands out in the United dressing room and has an impeccable character worthy of emulation is Zlatan Ibrahimovich. On and off the pitch, the Swede is focused on becoming a champion; winning more laurels as well as setting the pace for others to catch up with. He is never satisfied with his past achievements; he wants more! His hunger and passion for success underscored his transfer to United, a club that matches the Swede's winning mentality, even at the age of 34.

The United talisman, whose spectacular bicycle kick for Sweden against England won the 2013 FIFA Puskás Award for Goal of the Year, is undoubtedly a reminiscence of Muhammad Ali, the world's greatest boxer. In 1964, Ali announced himself to the world in a glowing manner beating Liston, the man he dubbed "the big ugly guy", to be crowned the heavy weight champion that year. At the wake of his triumph, the legendary boxer announced "I am the greatest".

SportsPotential Excellent Line Up Vs Burnley: Fabregas Could Be Back In The Side by CrunchTimez(op): 11:13am On Aug 26, 2016
Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte, could alter a side that picked all three points that mattered in the week two fixture of the EPL against Watford in order to accommodate Cesc Fabregas. The Spaniard could be rewarded for an excellent display against the Hornets last weekend.

The Italian has to decide whether to hang on with a defensive combination of captain John Terry, Gary Cahill, Ivanovic and Azpilicueta, despite conceding two goals in the last two EPL games. However, it is most likely the Italian would still pick the aforementioned players with Courtois retaining his place in goal.

Meanwhile, Moses would be hoping to get a nod against Burnley in the absence of Willian who is currently recuperating from a calf injury sustained in the opening day of the EPL. So, let's see how the Chelsea potential starting eleven against Burnley would look like.

Foreign AffairsHillary Clinton's Support Of Fracking Spelt Doom for Nigeria by CrunchTimez(op): 9:30am On Aug 26, 2016
Hillary Clinton's support of fracking - a technique in which rock is fractured by pressurised liquid in the deep rock formation to enhance the free flow of petroleum - and other trade policies have become leverage of a backlash by the Republicans. Sen. Bernie Sanders, in an interview with NBC's "Meet the
Press", stated that Mrs Clinton's votes in favour of "virtually" every trade agreement had cost most Americans millions of jobs. He also stated that Clinton's continued support of fracking despite its environmental implications meant that she would emerge the kind of president Americans never wanted. Sanders was of the view that 'hydraulic fracturing' pollutes fresh water and the environment in its entirety. Although his claim may be a subject of debate especially in view of the relative gains of fracking compared with the inherent environmental
hazards.

Contrary to Mr Sanders' perception, Catherine
Hausman and Ryan Kellog disclosed in their research work "Welfare and Distributional Implications of Shale Gas", that shale oil fracking increased US oil production by 50 percent from 2007 to 2013 which was enabled by same technological improvements
driving the natural gas boom. "Oil price fell
dramatically in 2014: from around $100 per barrel in Q1 and Q2 to around $50 per barrel by the start of 2015", the scholars stated.

Meanwhile, the fracking revolution policy backed by Hillary Clinton dealt a devastating blow to the Nigerian economy given that the "world oil market is largely integrated" and oil exports remained the backbone of Nigerian economy...

PoliticsAnother Look At The Man Goodluck Jonathan by CrunchTimez(op): 9:06am On Aug 26, 2016
Just this morning, I got a message from a former colleague of mine, via popular social media platform, Whatsapp, entitled "I didn't handover a collapsed nation to Buhari - Dr Goodluck Jonathan." The caption of the message was quite enticing as we have
had the APC blame the PDP and Dr Jonathan for the economic predicament the country faces today. So, I believed there were some shocking revelations to be made by the man, who in the history of Nigeria, orchestrated the most credible elections and, on the whole, piloted the affairs of our beloved nation, for
six 'good' years, deciding "who gets what, when and how."

However, I did think it was an opportunity for the former president to "kill it" - a powerful punch to the mouths of the APC chieftains, whose approach to the socio-economic affairs of the country have been perceived to be sterile at best, would have brought an end to the APC "blame game" for good...
