I want to share my experience so others won’t fall victim.

Sometime last month, I gave my laptop to a supposed engineer in Ikeja for repairs. He collected half of the agreed payment upfront but refused to fix the laptop. For over a month, he held onto it, giving excuses and avoiding my calls. It was after a while I was told by someone working around the shop that it's not his first time receiving a laptop and not returning it.

I eventually had to involve the police before he reluctantly returned the laptop – still unfixed. Till today, he has refused to refund the half payment I made. He still ignores calls and keeps giving lies and excuses.

Please be careful with so called engineers around Ikeja Computer Village. Many of them prey on people who genuinely need help with repairs.

This is just a warning so others won’t fall into the same trap. Always confirm who you’re dealing with before handing over your device or money. Please be careful guys.
