ibe003:felt all none eu applicants application ends by 15april for tallinn uni of tech |
My waec result have d last letter omitting in my surname, but my neco is correct. I have a better grade in waec than neco. ( A, B and C), but in neco all C 5. My waec displays my age, but neco does not. Since I swore affidavit with a back dated age, which do you recommend I should use? Please no insult. I'm just being honest. |
uzhi:I really can't say about masters, but I know undergraduate programs is via their embassy, I have contacted estonia representation in Nigeria, I think that's the belgian or Netherlands embassy, I can't remember which, but I knew I sent a mail to both, and one directed me to the other, and the one I was directed to said they don't issue such visa, that I should check with the school to give me a detailed explanation on what to do. And the school said for undergraduate, I should apply with their embassy. I don't want to misguide people, but I think I've read some where about application for masters program via estonia embassy or consuls. but please try and google or better still ask the school for clarification. |
AgentONE:that has bothered me aswel for a while, today you hear egypt refused this person while india accept them, tomorrow is viceversa, when that time comes I'll be going for egypt, heard so many stories about india embassy in nigeria that are annoying, but I think transportation cost to egypt is more economical if you are travelling with ethiopian air |
for Bachelor degree students, dnt apply via a consulate, it has to be an embassy, contacted d estonian consule in kenya via email and I was referred to Estonia embassy in Egypt, they also provided a link to other Estonia embassy around d world. for masters, I think its fine, bt graduate courses, it has to be via an embassy. |
uzhi:thanks... i'll pass over your advice |
some one asked me a question, let me put it to the house: Original waec result is not available, would it be ok if he sends statement of result including a waec scratch card and using his secondary school address in sending it to ttu? |
ok o, let me stop with this. I saw that info you pasted on Tallinn website too on august last year, its been there for long, not a recent info, but when I inquired about it, that was the answer he gave, reason being that Nigeria's medium of communication in our schools are in english, but you still need to show proof that you actually used english while studying, not necessarily TOEFL. when you log in to dream apply, you would see they have other alternatives for the english requirement too e.g like getting to the school to write the english test. anyways, that would be all I would say, would just look on from now on. was only trying to help tho, really sorry if i interfered too much. |
that's just part of some few emails I shared with him |
europestudy2015:when I asked if you are presently in tallinn, you didn't answer, I was getting my information from a source in the school, if you click on the link on the schools webpage "ask our student" the nigerian there. the information you gave is good but not complete, if you are indeed in the school, you would have given step by step procedures in getting documents ready and all we need to know about the application, price range of sending relevant documents, most preferable courier service we should use, help with skype interview and others, but I've since gotten most this information, the reason I'm here is to clarify the information I got and to help others too, not to start from scratch, and the guy in the school's website gave me most of all this, Godswill nkwusi, you can check him out, a P.Hd student. and if you are there like you say you are, your information would have been more direct, no offense.

from the info I got, Nigerians don't need to write toefl or sat when applying for tallinn tech, what you need is a signed & stamped declaration stating that English was the means of communication during study and your certificate should reflect it. |
Kassidy4luv:I'm starting by mid January or early February, I wanna get everything ready first, I don't wanna rush and make any errors, what course are you going for? |
europestudy2015:no lies bro, contacted the guy from nigeria at the schools web page, said 50k will do for a month, and about Job, I shouldn't bet on it. didn't say I was the source of the info, d free wifi and transport are displayed on the web page, I read that, I know. are you in tallinn? |
average feeding cost per month is about 50k, if you are lucky to get hostel accommodation, then you can get it for about 27k per month, price depends on the hostel block tho. and if you thinking you would get a job over there, from the info I got from someone who is there, your chances are betwn impossible to extremely slim. these ofcos mkes it a bit difficult. but life in tallinn is more cheaper than most parts of europe |
iyb:I think someone who has done it before would be in the best position to tell... so I hope someone helps us out with that too |
sobastical:I'm really serious about it. I would be starting my application by February when I've had all I would need at my disposal, I'll be going for integrated engineering, I think those of us with like minds should share whatsap contact so we can share info and help each other. just a suggestion tho |
