See, if you go through the bible verse i mentioned earlier. You'll see that speaking in tougues is a gift of the spirit. And there is also what they call the understanding of tougues, which also is the gift of the spirit. So you see you don't learn it in order to avoid speaking gibberish as you call it.
If you are speaking a tougues that you learn. That means you don't need to be in the spirit at that moment, that one is not speaking in tougue, that one is talking.
