mind you i do use the mobil 2000 for 5-6months with less than 4500 miles. with no sludge ot any issue.

Same oil I use on my car but I don't let it get to 4500 miles before changing, usually change at 3000 miles.

This might not be far from the truth, wish there's a way that I can monitor my airtel android TV box unlimited subscription too.

Save yourself high blood pressure and unending disappointments, avoid by all means, doesn't matter if it is Tokunbo or used here, these cars will fail no matter how much you take care of it, it is a design flaw.
When Hyundai started their Gdi technology post 2010, they got it totally wrong, till today they're still struggling with the technology and haven't gotten it right, there are even stories of 2025 palisades, Tucson failing within weeks, a quick Google search will open your eyes.
This failure is most common among the smaller engine displacements.
Pre 2011, and I can confidently tell you Hyundai/kias compare so well with more popular brands like Honda, Toyota, Nissan.
Mind you, I own an Hyundai Sonata and I haven't been to a mechanic for repairs for years, car is in top shape like the way it came imported, everything works great from my electric side mirrors to AC (cold and hot), rear window heating, electric driver seat, etc. no issues, even my leather seats are in great shape ( I never installed seat covers and I don't park in a garage, that tells you the sun hits it good).
Hyundai isn't totally an unreliable automaker, they manufactured the indestructible older engines still going strong today (over 20 years), they're just not giving up on the GDI tech/ having more diffuculties pairing them with Turbos, maybe they figure it out in the coming years, if you must use a more recent Hyundai, AVOID ALL TURBO VARIANTS with small engines, AND ONLY CONSIDER THE non turbo 3.3L/3.5L V6, the best Hyundai engines are the naturally aspirated V6s.

Couldn't have said it better, their GDI is really a mess.
I have a simple rule of thumb when it comes to Hyundai cars; avoid all 4 plugs and embrace the v6s if you must.

Personally I've not used the android box before so I cannot give a valid explanation to why it's like that but it could be as a result of the network in your environment or because of too many load on the 20mbps unlimited plan because the speed is capped so you can't do much as such. Advice that you can experiment do normal data plan and put in the android box maybe 1gb. Or. 2gb and retry it if it's persist it's the network if it's fast then it's the unlimited plan not fast enough

Yeah, I'm thinking in the same direction. Maybe the 20mbps will affect the speed,meanwhile I just subscribed for 100gb last night. Closely observing it now to see how it goes.

My Airtel android TV box seems to be slow, please is there a reason for it?
I normally recharge it with the 30k unlimited monthly plan but it still takes time to load especially when streaming some apps on the TV.
I wish to achieve seamless streaming of videos while using it pls...any solution to that?

I totally understand why you fell in love with the Forturner, have personally driven one from ABJ to PH and all i can say is that it's mad on the road.
Unfortunately, it doesn't come cheap on parts. It's mostly used by political class and usually bought brand new.
If your pocket is deep I would say u go for Highlander.

I saw this ads and I was like when did we get to this point,10m for a used 2012 Corolla when TOKS goes for 12m.
Had to do a quick search on NL here to see if it's a general thing and then I saw a cheaper deal.

OP is definitely playing with this his ridiculous 10m if you ask me.... things are bad but haven't gotten this bad.

This mechanic is calling a ridiculous price for me. I actually want to buy the engine myself and deliver to him to fix. I saw an advert online fora 500k complete engine. Those ladipo Facebook advert and chatted the guy up. But I dey fear ladipo guys. No good review from their dealings.

Do you think it's advisable to still get the engine and deliver for him to fix?

My fear is that he has shown he can't be trusted. And my car is presently parked there with the engine dropped. But again, won't he do a dirty job all because I got the engine myself and try to blame me for it, if it goes south??

So my question is this; does anyone know a trusted Honda engine seller at Oyinbo that will give me confirmed complete engine?

Let me just deliver to him, he takes his workmanship and we are good. Or do I just pay him 700k since he intends to buy engine and also service the gear plus other possible leg work?

The agreement is that he will fix the car to shape with 800k but I offered 700k.

Gear issue is that it was skipping gear and delays changing lower gear.

My fear is wasting 700k plus with no good car to show for it. Or do I buy anyhow engine on it ( reworked) and sell the car off?

Again, my fear is that I don't want another Naija used. I want to get a direct 2016-19 toks. But my current position can't afford it.

There is a clean 2010 naija used, but I am afraid cos of what I have suffered in this 06.

My only joy is that the engine and gear gave me also a year before this happened.

I need advise. 700k is not small money to gamble with. That 2months salary.

My advice is that you change both engine and gear, if you're lucky you might just spend within that 700k range but that's if you swap your old gear and engine for the deal.
