Nairaland GeneralMost Mature Nairalanders by curious121(op): 12:56am On May 30, 2009
In you honest opinion, who are the most mature nairalanders, those who know how to deal with situations without getting into a huff and fighting, those who know how to handle things without having to retaliate using insults, the mature ones!

CelebritiesRe: Who Is More Pretty, Jackie Appiah Or Nigerian Actress Genevieve Nnaji? by curious121(m): 9:12pm On May 18, 2009
@lovistic
What has finding Genny more attractive than Jackie got to do with being fake, arrogant, jealous or whatnot? Spare us that please, It's just personal preference so there's no need to get worked up over it.

You find Jackie to be prettier than Genny, freedom of choice, fair enough, not everyone's views will be the same. Also, if you go through the whole thread you will see that some people have also been voting for Jackie and not just Genny even though as you say, this is a Nigerian Forum.

I find Jackie Appiah to be very pretty, but in my opinion, Genny is prettier, same way I'm way sure many other people out there will find Jackie prettier, beauty they say is in the eyes of the beholder.

Try not to stress yourself out, haba.
CultureEdo And Yoruba Names by curious121(op): 8:11pm On May 18, 2009
Please, what are the links between Benin, Edo State and the Yoruba? I have come across some people of Edo decent with Yoruba names e.g Mercy Anuoluwapo Aigbe and am curious as to why this is, or are the names not originally Yoruba? Would like to learn smiley
RomanceHis Right Over Her by curious121(op): 7:38pm On May 13, 2009
Many of us know there is a diffenece between a husband and a boyfriend, but then again, how much of a right does a boy/man have over his girlfriend, in terms of telling what to do and not to do, where she can go or not go?

Nairaland GeneralMost Mysterious Girl On Nland by curious121(op): 7:52pm On May 10, 2009
Who do you find to be the most myseterious girl on nairaland, one minute she's this and then one minute she's that? The girl that makes you wonder.
RomanceThe Tease by curious121(op): 6:49pm On May 10, 2009
Im sure many guys have heard of 'The Tease', you know, the type of girl who leads you on to the point where your balls are about to burst, literally, when it is now time to do the main thing, she stops and comes up with some kind of excuse to why she doesn't want to do it anymore, leaving you outrageously Hot but with nothing to dip yourself into.

In this kind of situation, what exactly would you guys do? Would you leave her be and allow to just leave you like that or will you make sure what both of you had started is finished there and then before allowing her to escape?

What are your views on this?

RomancePosessive Boyfriends by curious121(op): 7:56pm On May 06, 2009
One of my good friends often tells me of how her boyfriend is very posessive, he calls constantly and demands that she tell him everything she has done and anywhere she has gone or will go. What exactly causes these guys to be so posessive? Ladies, how do you feel when your boyfriend is too posessive and will you ever leave your boyfriend because of this bad habit?

RomanceHandling Rejection by curious121(op): 5:12pm On May 03, 2009
Just a curious thought, I've heard of many cases of guys on campus, in particular cultist guys who have tried to woo a particular girl who also attends their school but if rejected, result in stalking, raping and even beating the girl until perhaps she succumbs to his proposals or maybe he just did it to 'teach her a lesson'. Is this kind of behaviour often 'helpful' in terms of the guy getting what he wants? Have you heard of any cases similar to this or even been in a situation like this? Plus, what exactly are your thoughts on such ways of handling rejection?

If that's what makes you feel better.

@SoAmazing
Maybe if you had read my post properly, you would have noticed I was talking about the guy's who yab girls' pictures and yet do not have the guts to post their own, plus I did not make my point about them in general, I was talking about a number of them. What's posting my own picture got to do with the point I'm trying to make? Chill out, seriously undecided
RomanceTrend Amongst Nairaland Men by curious121(op): 1:13am On Apr 27, 2009
I have noticed a common trend amongst many boys, men etc of Nairaland. Many of them constantly critisize girls' pictures and still yet to this day, the same ones insulting girls who are brave enough/ have the guts to post their pics don't seem to want to show their own, I am guessing they are also not too 'easy on the eyes' either, not only that, when asked for a glimpse of their picture, they come up with flimsy excuses and constantly wave it off. Only God knows what these men look like in real life, wonders truly shall never end.

RomanceRe: Prettiest Girls On Nairaland by curious121(op): 7:58pm On Apr 26, 2009
Actually, my point on the other thread was not to generalize based on ethnic group in terms of beauty, that there are both ugly and pretty girls in every tribe. On this thread, I am asking of individuals. Please, rather than bombard me with insults and questions, please move along if you don't want to answer my question. Thank you.

Goodness me.
