range os 25 to 45%. 45% for those on lower g
GL and 25 for ogas at the top. GL 12 is in-between. Then again, RSG can decide to pay higher.

if I want to speak truthfully...its of no use...how many pple have U seen teaching by that age 60...they are either principals or disgruntled VPs waiting for their turn to be principals..they don't teach or do any major work..most of them just sit around doing nothing...if they have us Amechi teachers teaching the same subjects..all the load will be dumped on you,while they just sit doing nothing..it's a waste of time..they don't add anything to the system at that age...we just want extra 5years to be collecting salary without doing anything...if I am the the Governor I will pay you your full salary for 5years when U turn 60, but go home ..when U are 65 you will switch to pension..instead to filling up space in the system...let more active n energetic people come in...I have been to primary school where the teachers can't even get up from their chairs due to age..what's the need ...it's all because of money for extra 5years not really because most of us wants to teach or inspire anything

it's not as bad as you sound bro. Lecturers teach till 70. If we had a great system, teachers from 60 and above could be administrators and the system will benefit from their experience.

it depends on the formula they will use to adjust the wages . For example if its only our basic salaries they want to use then our allowances will be excluded . But if they want to include our allowances its also up to the employer .

my man . See eh . After the last minimum wage . Level 8 earning 65k would have moved up to 108k or thereabout but different employers used what is known as consequential adjustment to adjust the increase of workers on higher level to what the enjoyer is comfortable in paying . Is the same thing now . All things being equal a level twelve staff should be earning above 200k but CONSEQUENTIAL ADJUSTMENT may not allow this to happen and we may end up seeing about 40 to 50k on top our net pay

isn't this minimum wage increase going to affect other allowances like housing and all?
