Yes turns out you can actually track the goods more than it is shown on aliexpress, my using the international shipper's website which in my case was Netherlands shipping, so after it showed that it has enter "crossed the border", i decided to contact nipost and they told me i should be patient that it is in my local post office so i waited some days before going there turns out my goods have been with them since the 7 of this month and they didn't bother calling me, i just took it and they asked me to pay ₦500, i hope this helps

Edit: What I meant to say was post this your predicament on twitter someone could know someone who lost their phone but you would have to post it with the general area you stay, if you are ok with that. Because if they track that phone and "catch" you, you wouldn't have anything to prove you didn't steal it, make public statement on your facebook community groups and twitter it would save you if things wants to go sideways since people can now vouch for your intention.
Some people use their iphone with wifi since it could be carrier locked. meaning it would only work with that network that sold the phone.. best of luck to you.
