Madam, I truly LOVE YOU (no intentions to snatch you away from your baby).........
The empty quote didn’t happen, it wasn’t me...

You can use any registry of your choice in Nigeria. Ensure they issue you a local government marriage certificate and take pictures backing the registry insignia....

You cannot apply for a spousal in the UK, while on a visiting visa. You would not be granted a marriage licence. Marriage would have to be conducted in your home country.....

Best to apply via priority application, if the extra funds is not too much financial stress and also depends how quickly you want to be in baby's arms.......
Lolz! Thanks for the information, now I know how to start planning.
Someone is sarcastic ...hahahahaha

Further from the truth and interpretation of my response you are........
What we call ours on this thread is spouse/husband/wife........
When issues are raised on this thread, it's best to probe deeper, to avoid confliction in interpretation.....
Literal interpretation in the past, has caused the wrong type of advice/suggestion offered.......

If your baby is 11, then I would politely suggest you apply in about 7 years from now ......

Good morning,

I came across this thread whilst seeking information on this process as I am about to go through it in less than 3 months.

Now that you cleared that up, My SPOUSE is coming into Nigeria to marry me.
I really need to know if the legal union must be done in Abuja or Lagos?

Secondly, would it be advisable to apply via premium service in the UK(on a visit visa) or apply from Nigeria?

Is he still a baby, baby? I ask because I would not naturally expect a baby to have all the documentations it takes.....

Minors are not usually allowed to apply for spousal visa. The age of consent I think is 18.........
Obviously he isn’t literally a baby, baby... It is quite puzzling and creepy how you’re so pressed about what I called mines.

Funny how trifling creatures be quick to tag someone they know not “minor”....

The age of formal cognitive operational stage I think is 11

Hey everyone,
Pardon me as I have questions with regards to the aim of this thread...I’d ask the most pressing one for now as thus:
1. My SPOUSE is an EU citizen, settled in the UK... he wants to come to Nigeria in few months to legalize our bond. I have read nixed&unmatched lines pertaining to the marriage certificate UK recognizes for settlement visa. Must we go to Ikoyi or Abuja registry or can we get married in any other marriage registry besides the aforementioned ones? Would it be affirmed if it’s not from Ikoyi or Abuja??
