You were right, it was unlocked!

After much googling I found that sometimes it takes alot of time after itunes restore to get a new carrier working.

So after a complete wipe and restore, I just left the phone plugged into itunes and after 10 min and "activation error" message, I had signal and could make calls!

I know that it reports unlocked on some queries, but I'm sure it's actually LOCKED on Orange Spain.
Whatever carrier I try on it (Vodafone etc), I get "SIM Error" or "Invalid SIM" although all work perfectly on other phones.

Can you try to unlock even if it's reported unlocked already?
