One is meant to instill discipline, dealing wit her age grades, is ceremonial, no money involved and has nothing to do wit government. While the second involves representing constituents, making policy nd budgetary decisions through meetings and committees, scrutinizing council performance to ensure accountability, nd facilitating communication btwn the community nd the council by resolving local issues nd keeping residents informed. Also lead and develop local vision, foster community engagement, and work with various organizations to improve the local area and people's quality of life. Etc.

Wat does a 19 yrs old knws about the office of a councillor? She looks so confused. In as much as we all are clamouring for youth engagement in politics, we should make it a point of duty to vote the ones that are competent and knows his/her onion.
