Michael Essien is good, but i'll rather play Jay Jay in his position. Babayaro should replace Asamoah. I didn't watch G.Weah play at his prime, thus, I can't say much. But Drogba needs to be on the list. Bounou is also good. El- Hadary and Enyama could also lay a claim. Not 4gettin the legendary Thomas N'kono who inspired and mentored Gigi.
Modified: The greatest African XI of all time should have 2 to 3 lists because a lot of quality players are being left out especially the older generation players. |

WizardOfNG: Not every actor has to be like Dwayne Johnson (the Rock) in Hollywood. Many male winners of the Oscar, one of the highest acting accolade in the World, won for acting talent not looks. Actors like Tom Hanks, Anthony Hopkins etal.
Nothing wrong with being physically attractive in Hollywood, like Denzel Washington, but you should be able to act which Ninalowo can't. Sorry to say. Gone are the days when being a macho man automatically makes u a Hollywood star; like the days of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester stallion etc. It's a whole new era now. Dwayne Johnson was told to trim down earlier in his career b4 being accepted into Hollywood because they felt he was too masculine. He had to trim down b4 being giving a role in Scorpion King. Dave Bautista saw hell, went to a lot of auditions and was turned down simply because he was to masculine. My guy suffer b4 finally getting a breakthrough in Drax the Destroyer after Jason Momoa turned it down. Roman Reigns despite his down to earth looks, physique and charisma and being a cousin to Dwayne Johnson is finally getting a breakthrough in Hollywood after years of difficulties. I know a lot of big fellas from the NFL, WWE, AEW even from the world of weight lifting who have all failed to get a breakthrough in Hollywood despite their looks, charisma and confidence. Wat most people failed to realise is that It's easier for slim guys like Tom Cruise, Tom Hanks, Keanu Reeves, Jason Statham, Chris Evans etc to break into Hollywood than the bigger guys. |

press9jatv: Someday, the young will see that fighting for Nigeria is a death sentence, but entertaining Nigeria is a ticket to survival.
Few days ago I made a post that went viral about the Super Falcons. I was both praised and cursed, today, I’m reminding our leaders again of the danger they ignore because solving them won’t make headlines.
The Nigerian women’s basketball team, D’Tigress lifted their 5th trophy in a row. What a feat! What a moment!
The President, in celebration, gifted them $100,000 and houses each. As he should. These women carried the name Nigeria to the world, and brought back glory.
They deserve the applause. They deserve the reward. They deserve even more. Just like the Super Falcons.
But something else also happened the same day, just a few streets away… Retired Nigerian soldiers, men who fought and bled for this same flag, were on the streets protesting for their unpaid gratuities and pensions.
I’m sure you are not shocked. We are used to seeing and hearing such things.
On the same day that Nigeria celebrates, Nigeria also forgets. On the same day the nation rewards victory, it abandons those who endured sacrifice.
These soldiers are not just names. They are fathers, husbands, sons, mothers and daughters who once carried rifles so we could carry microphones and basketballs. They once faced bullets, while we cheered from the comfort of our homes.
They once stayed awake, bare, broken, hungry, in the den of death and terror of the night, while we cuddle our pillows and make love.
Now they are old… hungry… forgotten. This is the danger of selective patriotism. This is my only problem with this country.
A country that rewards success but punishes sacrifice is building a dangerous future. Because one day, the young will see that fighting for Nigeria is a death sentence, But entertaining Nigeria is a ticket to survival.
And when the enemies come, not with trophies but with terror — Who will fight? Who will die? Who will trust the system enough to wear the uniform?
This post is not to diminish the greatness of D’Tigress, I celebrate them! But it is to remind the nation:
A country that abandons its warriors will soon have no one left willing to fight for it.
Reward the heroes. But don’t forget the ghosts who bled for your freedom. Because the loudest form of betrayal is silence… especially when the old soldiers cry.

In Melbourne, Islamists were seen setting Australian flags on fire.
Australia Has Fallen
They do shits in other countries, same shits they will never tolerate in their terrorist countries. Imagine burning down the flag of ur host? Burn an Islamic countries flag and see terrorists causing mayhem all over the world. God bless Netan. Man will continue to give them wotowoto. |

The few remaining are the ones who were lucky to have secured fixed assets and are still earning enough to not have to sell them.
Instead of selling their homes to shore up dying businesses in Nigeria, people would rather sell them and jápa.

Did the imo born players play the games all by themselves?
Did they score the goals all alone?
Is football not a team sports anymore?
This is why Nigeria will never be united ever!

Tor. That's better ooo. Cos D'Tigess deserves more than wat the Super Falcons got. They have been consistent for years. They are on the verge of winning the Afrobasketball for the fifth time in a row. They are the winners of the last 4 edition. They also made history in the just concluded Olympics and made Africa proud. Good look my babes. Especially my crush Kalu and Okonkwo. |
