No wonder we are this backward.

Science/TechnologyRe: 10 Important Google Links (MUST READ) by daamazing(m): 9:45pm On Mar 25, 2017

Google stores everything privately and here are the 10 important links ( URLs ) that will unlock everything Google knows about you . They are hidden somewhere deep inside your Google Account dashboard and they may reveal interesting details about you that are otherwise only known to Google. Let ’ s dive in.
1. Google stores a list of usernames and passwords that you have typed in Google Chrome or Android for logging into various websites . They even have a website too where you can view all these passwords in plain text.
passwords.google .com
2. Google creates a profile of yourself based on the sites you visit , guessing your age , gender and interests and then uses this data to serve you more relevant ads. Use this URL to know how Google sees you on the web.
www. google. com/ settings/ ads
3. You can easily export all your data out of the Google ecosystem . You can download your Google photos , contacts , Gmail messages and even your YouTube videos ; head over the Google Takeout page to grab the download links .
www. google. com/ takeout
4. If you ever find your content appearing on another website , you can raise a DMCA complaint with Google against that site to get the content removed . Google has a simple wizard to help you claim content and the tool can be used to remove websites from Google search results that are scraping your content .
support .google .com/ legal
5. Your Android phone or the Google Maps app on your iPhone is silently reporting your location and velocity ( are you moving and if yes , how fast are you moving ) back to Google servers . You can find the entire location history on the Google Maps website and you have the option to export this data as the KML files that can be viewed inside Google Earth or even Google Drive .
google. com/ maps / timeline
6. Create a new Google Account using your existing email address. The regular sign -up process uses your @ gmail. com address as your Google Account username but with this special URL , you can use any other email address as your username .
accounts. google. com/SignUpWithoutGmail
7. Google and YouTube record every search term that you have ever typed or spoken into their search boxes . They keep a log of every Google ad that you have clicked on various websites , every YouTube video you have watched and, if you are a Google Now user , you can also see a log of all your audio search queries. OK Google .
history .google .com (Google searches )
history .google .com/ history / audio (Voice searches )
youtube. com/ feed/ history (YouTube searches and watched videos )
8. You need to login on to your Gmail Account at least once every nine months else Google may terminate your account according to their programme policies . This can be an issue if you have multiple Gmail accounts ; so as a workaround , you can set up your main Gmail account as the trusted contact for your secondary accounts . Thus , Google will keep sending you reminders every few months to login onto your other accounts .
www. google. com/ settings/ account /inactive
9. Worried that someone else is using your Google account or it could be hacked? Open the activity report to see a log of every device that has recently connected into your Google account . You will also get to know the IP addresses and the approximate geographic location . Unfortunately , you cannot remotely log out of a Google session.
myaccount. google. com/ security
10. Can ’ t locate your mobile phone ? You can use the Google Device Manager to find your phone provided it is switched on and connected to the Internet . You can ring the device, see the location or even erase the phone content remotely. You can even find the IMEI Number of the lost phone from your Google Account.

We at techredirector.com have debunked this issue.
For the past few days messages like this have been Trending on WhatsApp for wrong reasons..
Gud evening ,i hope u guys ave heard dat d police saved anoda woman tryn to jump into d lagoon today..pls my sisters dis is d number calling dem..08030004900...i didnt really blive until a friend tld me d number called her nd started sayn sum enchantment and d nxt thing she heard waz tld to 08030004900 kill her self wit any possible means she has...d same number called her friends broda in skul nd if nt for her friend's broda roommated dat stop him..he wud ave stabbed himself wit d knife in his hands..so pls sisters lets pass dis information..nd lets also b prayerful..d was d same number dat called dat doctor dat jumped into d lagoon too...#TAKEHEED
Pls don't pick calls from d number
Two of my course mates were saved cos dey missed d call
However, there is no truth behind this,

Truth
It is an MTN NG no. For promotional messages, that's the reason why it can't be called.

The short code is 4900, instead of calling with 4900 which many users won't pick up, the 08030004900 was introduced.

I myself have picked the call recently, you hear a promotional message and it's not in any way related to the lagoon - suicide.

pls spread the news

WebmastersRe: 9 Most In-demand Programming Languages by daamazing(op):

Lol..

Op is confused.. You stated your list with SQL..?
Is SQL a programming language..?
Its an acronym for Structured Query Language...
Its can also be a database query system.. It is used by programming languages to store data in a well structured format...

Get your fact right before posting nonsense..

Edit your post before you are caught!...
As the SQL acronym pronounces, it is a language. It offers looping, logic directives, variables, and so on. Now, it’s not a language in the same sense as, say, Java or C++: SQL is considered a fourth-generation language (4GL), whereas Java and C++ are third-generation languages (3GLs).
Fourth-generation languages are programming languages that are closer to human language than high-level languages like Java. These 4GLs are often used to accessdatabases, such as SQL, where humanlike syntax is used to retrieve and manipulate data.

Python is a widely used high-level programming language used for general-purpose programming, as it is simple and readable. Python is the easiest coding language to learn for the first time learners. In order to become a seasoned professional, every beginner should at least know this language.

4. JAVASCRIPT

JavaScript is a popular, powerful, dynamic, scripting language that is used to create cool websites and games for the web. It derives much of its syntax from The C Language. JavaScript is compatible across all browsers, and is used in over 90 percent of all web pages. In recent years, JavaScript has also gained use as the foundation of Node.js, a server technology that among other things enables real-time communication. It is also is used to spice up web pages by making them interactive. For example, JavaScript can be used to add effects to web pages, display pop-up messages or to create games with basic functionality. It’s also worth noting that JavaScript is the scripting language of the World Wide Web and is built right into all major web browsers including Internet Explorer, FireFox and Safari. Almost every website incorporates some element of JavaScript to add to the user experience, adding to the demand for JavaScript developers.

5. C++

C++ (pronounced C-plus-plus) Developed by Bjarne Stroustrup at Bell Labs, C++ was first released in 1983. Stroustrup keeps an extensive list of applications written in C++. The list includes Adobe and Microsoft applications, MongoDB databases, large portions of Mac OS/X and is the best language to learn for performance-critical applications such as “twitch” game development or audio/video processing.. It saw an increase of almost 20,000 job postings over 2016 that has helped it to take fifth place in the rankings. C++ is a general-purpose programming language based on C language.

6. C#

“C Sharp” saw a small increase in popularity in 2017, but not enough to keep it from falling behind C++.

C Sharp is a simple, modern, general-purpose, type-safe, object-oriented programming language, which is developed by Microsoft. The language is intended for use in developing software components suitable for deployment in distributed environments. It is used in a number of applications such as .NET. Since the release of the .NET Core open-source development platform in June 2016, it can now be used on non-Windows machines.

7. PERL

Perl has climbed up the ladder to secure the seventh place in the rankings leaving iOS, PHP and Ruby behind.
Perl, or “the duct tape that holds the Internet together,” as it’s been named, is actually two languages now; Perl 5 and Perl 6, which launched in Dec. 2015. Both of them are general-purpose dynamic programming languages that see a lot of use in CGI, graphics, network, and finance programming.

8. iOS

In 2014, Apple decided to invent their own programming language. The result was Swift – a new programming language for iOS and OS X developers to create their next killer app. Developers will find that many parts of Swift are familiar from their experience of developing in C++ and Objective-C. Companies including American Airlines, LinkedIn, and Duolingo have been quick to adopt Swift, and we’ll see this language on the rise in the coming years.
In September 2016, Apple released Swift 3.0 with new features including better translation of Objective-C APIs, modernizations of debugging identifiers and a new model for collections and indices. Apple plans to release Swift 3.1 and Swift 4 in 2017.

9. PHP

PHP (Hypertext Pre-Processor) is a server-side programming language, which can be used to create web pages written in HTML. It is used on more than 80 percent of websites today including Facebook, Wikipedia, Tumblr and WordPress. PHP is not only a popular language among new programmers due to its easy-to use techniques; it also does offer tons of advanced features for more experienced programmers. In recent years, PHP has grown enormously in popularity. Its web-facing features make it a highly-demanded skill, especially when paired with Javascript and SQL.17.
