If you read my comments very well you'll understand why devs prefer ios, simple... Money, not because of raw power. Thirdly mobile gaming isn't for true gamers... Take it or leave it. I have played a whole lot of games om my phone that I've realized it's just not worth it since fifa 15 - 16. Also, if you bring the ipad pro into the picture, I'd simply bring the Intel surface pro 4. Pls stick to the narrative, even the iPhone x doesn't have the 120hz... . Also the scenario of putting any 2018 flagship to ios device with the hope that it'll best the s9+ snapdragon 845 is in lay man terms laughable. . IPhone has got nothing on the adreno... Simple as facts.
The facts is as stated below
1. devs choose iPhone cus of money
2. Adreno is the most powerful gpu on mobile before, now amd tomorrow.
3. A11 is theoretically the best cpu on paper but irl it's being bested by other mobile phones.
4.there are also exclusives on Android.

And what exactly will be the level playing field? Putting in mind the bolded if I were to consider a mobile device for smooth ish free gaming experience what device will be reasonable to choose?
Note: the argument here is on normal flagship android devices and top of the line iphones not the recently introduced Android gaming devices.

In addition, there are so many other top applications that are only available or better still work better on the iOS platform i.e some sound mixing/recording apps for studio quality sound editing.
On the gpu front you've been repeating, the adobe photoshop editing app and others like that are just better on iOS no argument on that.

The main reason why this will continue to be the case for android is because of fragmentation of the OS (how many android devices are already on OREO and android P will soon be released, too many devices to manage, different chipset from different manufacturers etc etc.

I'm pretty sure there's a video that would show gaming test. Enjoying a smooth gaming experience isn't about the half a second quicker it takes to open a game. Android has never EVER done gaming experience as good as iOS.

I have this story line before... ... They're some videos online wer the note 8 bests the iPhone x performance wise. However, the adreno is still boss...do more research bro....

On the mobile front, the apple phones are ahead in terms of gaming. The reason for this is not far fetched, it is simply optimization. It is very easy for them to optimize their OS in tandem with the processor since they have a few devices to manage.
If you're still not convinced, check benchmark comparisons and video reviews on YouTube.

I know their processors are superb but until they adopt Android OS, they should keep their OS and high powered processors.

What so special about iPhone?

Personally I cannot even imagine myself using an iPhone. If someone gives me an iPhone 10 as a gift, I will sell it off to buy a high end android phone because I cannot use it

Hi everyone, somebody directed me to this thread and I've gotten lot of information about Xiaomi here. My reservation is just about the warranty. Most time you buy phone even here in Nigeria and within short time it brick without having anything to do to it.

If there is a way information can get to Xiaomi to see the need to have a service center in Nigeria, it would have been good. Seeing the number of Nigerians using this product can motivate them and its an avenue for expansion. Who Tecno and Infinix help but because of their stupid service center (where they will be attending to you like they are helping you) people tend to buy their products much.

From the look of it, I may join Xiaomi club soon just that I'm confused on what to choose base on my budget.
