I just had a UK Visa refusal for the second time. I had taken key learnings from here to support the second application but I was surprised that it was met with a refusal. Reason? That I had over 5 million within the period of report. However, this money which they saw as credit into my account was a wrong debit on my POF account that was reversed. The case officer didn't interpret it as a reversal but took it as a new credit. Second reason was that the amount I put to spend on the 2 weeks trip is too much for that period. I put that amount considering flight return ticket and my expenses in the UK but the case officer just took it that I wanted to spend that alone in the UK. Moving forward, I have a wedding that I have been invited for February 2024. I would like to know if it's still fine to reapply in January and what steps I can take to improve my chances for an approval. Lastly, what amount would be recommended as ideal to put as money I intend to spend to avoid them saying "this form of expenditure on a short trip of this nature is disproportionate to your current circumstances". |

In truth it was what you put in the application they are using to nail you.
