Obaofaba: Dangote didn't just love the south West because of it's sea access, after all, there is sea access in the south south. South West represent Nigeria's most civilised region. Just name it, from security, productive youth, raw materials accessibility, urbanisation and large market which is proximity to other regions.
Sentiment aside, why will I have an opportunity to invest in south western Nigeria and will choose waring south east where everything can be brought down in two hours by the order of one idiot in the UK. you mean now in DSS underground jail? |

Nigeria is what it's because we failed to give Obasanjo a chance to govern this country. This Baba would have turn Nigeria to America. He would have given us 24hrs electricity, railways, security, good road, kill corrupt, no third term agenda, no bribery in national assembly. We would not have spent $16b in electricity, yet no lights no money. We would not have sold all Nigeria asset yet no end product. Petrol price would have been 11N per litre. Effc would not be hunting oppositions. Election would have been free and fair not do or die. |

They are angry because they can no longer reap Nigerians off.
I'm sure they will start hoarding fuel to create artificial scarcity so they can inflate prices.

Baba, we support you and we stand on your mandate... not taking your religion serious doesn't make one a liberal . Nothing like liberal Muslims. On the day of judgment you will asked about your kids, how you manage them. That could make you or break you. Yes you could marry a Christian or Jew woman provided your kids will be Muslims, but too dangerous to do. Most kids follow mama, because she always with them. A couple practicing different religions is just nonsense |

Russia wey never save themselves finished from NATO naim wan save one poor Africa country? seunmsg: lol. Niger is a big joke of a country. Why can’t they run to Russia for oil? If the sanctions continue, that country will collapse in less than two years from now.
It’s always funny and depressing when I see some Nigerians calling for military rule. For those of us old enough to remember how things were before we transited to democracy, we always thank God for where we are right now. |
Politics › Re: Niger Begs Nigeria For Fuel Amid Severe Shortages by Daddyk87(m): 6:23pm On Mar 14, 2025 |
DemonSlayer: The same junta that accused Nigeria of plotting against them—the same one that stubbornly refused to engage in dialogue with ECOWAS, an organization Nigeria has supported more than any other country in the region. That was disrespectful. As a landlocked nation situated next to Africa’s largest economy (with access to the ocean), a certain level of humility is expected from Niger. President Tinubu is too nice. I will suffocate them, cut electricity, block seaport block food export, fuel. Watch them crying
Now, after getting themselves into a hot mess, they’re coming back to their vomit. Wuna never see anything, shege is still loading... |

Bosman17: How would that have happened? See the war Dangote fought and the pressure Nigerians hipped on NNPC before allowing Dangote operate? If we were still paying subsidy, Dangote refinery won’t have seen the light of day!!! Also who are we truly subsidising? You with one car and a generator? No!!! The people smuggling out the petrol to sell to neighbouring countries are the true beneficiaries…. allow him to rant abbegi. One of those bitter loser. Tinubu made the right decision |

pimplucious: And he also refuted that statement in other interview. The werey na forked tongue Mothafuka speaking from both sides. they are angry because the removal wasn't done by their candidate. Every well meaning Nigeria knew he wasn't going to be easy but it's a must. Allihamdulillah today competition is on amongst petrol marketers Gone are those days when fuel go, never gonna come down.no more queues. We are progressing. |
Politics › Re: Dangote Lowers Petrol Loading Cost To ₦815/Litre by Daddyk87(m): 6:54am On Mar 14, 2025 |
Bobloco: The excitement and euphoria of being sworn in as Nigeria's president overtook Tinubu’s reasoning, which led him to make that thoughtless statement: 'subsidy is gone.'
That thoughtless statement, followed by the floating of the naira, brought untold hardships on Nigerians, and this country will never recover from it.
Subsidy removal was supposed to be a gradual process, ensuring first that our refineries were operational and implementing measures to mitigate its effects on Nigerians.
There was no justification for the price of petrol to rise from below ₦200 to over ₦1,350 per liter in such a short time.
It was pure wickedness and draconian by the Tinubu regime in the way it handled the subsidy removal and floating of the naira.
If Dangote Refinery and other refineries were operational before the subsidy removal, the price of petrol wouldn't have gone beyond ₦400 per liter, and transportation costs, food prices, goods, and services wouldn’t have skyrocketed to the extent that they have you favourite candidate said " I can assure you subsidy will go immediately, I won't allow it for a day" In another interview he said " subsidy is organised crime" |

EXOUSIAng: Jagaban na weyrey. Now Obidients will understand what it means to let market forces control price.
In a few years we will have more refineries and they will be scrambling for supply, prices will crash.
He truly removed subsidy to protect the future of our children
Na them be this.....
