I always have the faith since i was single, d faith brought me my darlying husband when hope was lost and i will still name one of my twins Faith. I have said to God that i'm going no where again in looking for miracles, the faith i have ( mark 11:23-24) will surely work for me in Jesus name, amen

pls i did urine msc, its yielded scanty growth of staphylococus spp after overnight incubation of 37C. i have being feeling a little itching since 2 days ago. I have a little pains @ d right pelvic area, also i urinate often day and night since two month ago, that makes me assume that maybe its UTI. What do u think sir?

It depends on which organism is causing the infection/PID. Typically in healthy young adults; gonorrhea/chlamydia is the culprit. Treatment for gonorrhea/chlamydia; typically is: azithromycin or doxycycline or ceftriaxone. You should also refrain from having sexual inter*course until complete resolution of symptoms. Your partner should also be treated.

But!

I encourage you to go to a health care provider and get an exam and proper testing and prescription and not self treat.

Well, go to a good lab and submit your sample for urinalysis and urine m/c/s and take the results to a doctor for proper evaluation and treatment or better still you can go and see your doctor and make your complaints and they will carry on from there. Cheers!!!

You may go back to the clinic if your symptoms have not abated. You must be able to see a doctor.

Meanwhile, your upper abdominal symptoms are not likely to be related directly to your ttc

What stage are you in your ttc? Have you done any diagnostic workups? How are they? Your dh nko? It's easier to advise when there are specific problems to tackle.

thnks Doc, God bless U. Can i still go to MOP clinic in UCH next week instead of June 4? Wil they attend to me? Though d pains are not much, i'm breathing in and out very well, my bp is good. I dont know any stage of ttc, i only did scan, blood and urine tests. My DH did semens and other tests, he 100% ok, my Dr @ UCH gynae said she d Doctor @ MOP must give her go ahead if i'm ok to get pregnant.

Possible causes of your symptoms include, peptic ulcer disease, hepatitis, gastritis, cholycystitis, even pancreatitis.

You are not advised to commence any medications until you obtain a clinical diagnosis from your doctor.

i have been to UCH, he Dr gave me some drugs but the pains are still there, because i missed a clinic day, i am now booked for may this year which is very long. That is y i came to this forum. Pls, kindly give me some advise cos i'm a TTC over a year now

If the former is the case, please do a pregnancy test if you have been sexually active and get back to me.

If the latter is the case, then the advice is to remain calm, and see it as a one-off experience. If it remains markedly irregular for another 2 cycles, it should then require investigations especially if you are ttc.

How do you mean an "enlarged liver"? What symptoms do you have?

There are normal discharges too, and not every itching is an infection.

A lot of them have no infection. Infection appears to be "trending" becos of the labs and quacks who attribute anything to infections.

Always visit a proper hospital if you have any need to, not a lab, not a pharmacy.

Most infections will give you symptoms. But many women are "aymptomatic carriers" of many infections esp Chlamydia. This means that they will not show any symptoms whatsoever, but will habour the infection-causing agents, and can pass them on.

i have not being to the lab, i'm just asking cos everywoman does complain of signs of infections. Myself doesnt feel nor see any sign of infection in me
