Karlifate: Where do you stay in Ibadan?
I stay(ed) in Oluyole Estate & I enjoy electricity, peace, quietness, friendly neighbors & neighborhood.
Except Oluyole is no longer in Ibadan.
Besides, you can't be attracting unnecessary attention to yourself & expecting not to be harassed. Pls, tell me the unnecessary attention I attracted to myself. By staying peacefully at home and my landlord used to complain that I work at home and felt that am jobless? Maybe there’s something am not getting right so pls let me know |

livinbygrace: I used to stay there before Its very easy to get an apartment. You can get apartment same day you arrived,As a Nigeria, once you enter Seme Booarder, just get a carb to Pekadis,That is where most Nigerians resides. No landlord will disturb you. They dont have your time, whether you go out or not,but the most important is for you to pay their rent when due. For you to rent ,they collect five months(three months for rent, agent will collect a month and caution a month),so you are paying for five month for a start. Not furnised apartment, just a empty room and parlor. Its your duty to get whatever you want to put inside your apartment, This is so helpful... God bless you my brother. I appreciate!! |

livinbygrace: You dont have any business going to hotel..All you have to do is to get a good apartment.A good room and parlor in a good location is between 40k to 50k cefa per month.electricty 8k per month, water 1k per month ,excluding your feeding,so do the math. God bless you brother.. pls, let me use this opportunity to ask all my questions from you abeg 🙏 1. Pls, how easy it is to get apartment in Cotonou? Can I get within a week? 2. Is it furnished apartments or I will have to furnish myself? 3. Do you stay there now? Additionally, I had an issue with my first landlord here in IB — he used to complain that, I work from home...that he wants someone with physical business . Pls, hope no one will disturb me like that in Cotonou cos this is the only legit hustle that is feeding me and my family. I’ve tried businesses here that I lost money including Uber. Thanks so much brother... God bless you!! |

livinbygrace: If your online hursle is all about electricity, then go to Benin Republic. Its closser but a 1000 naira is now 360 cefa I have been to Cotonou twice and that’s the only Africa country I visited. I love it honestly until I met some stupid Nigerians in the hotel making noise and smoking everywhere. I have lived in 3 different apartments in Ibadan here cos of this same madness - in fact, Police once raided my previous compound. I just want a quiet place with good security, no police intruding my peace while I do my thing legally and be law abiding. That’s all with very good electricity. |

AngelSlay: Respectfully, this kind of thinking is exactly why many people remain stuck. First of all, access to a computer or phone doesn't cancel lived experience. Some of us speaking have actually been through it — not just watched videos.
Saying 'I’ve been to most of these countries and Nigeria is better' is too general. Which countries? What kind of visa? What location and budget? Were you strategic or just floating around with no plan?
Yes, 7 million can vanish if you're careless — even in Nigeria. But with proper planning, research, and networking, you can turn that same 7 million into a business in places like Rwanda, Kenya, Ghana, or even Benin Republic — where cost of living is better, electricity is stable, and government policies support small businesses.
Let’s not forget, many people making 7 million in Naija are still living with anxiety — bad healthcare, no security, unstable economy, and government policies that can wipe your hustle overnight.
Nobody is saying JAPA blindly. But if you have 7 million, a family to think of, and you're tired of a system that gives no reward for honest work — looking outside strategically is not foolishness, it’s smart thinking.
Let’s stop dragging people down for trying to level up. God bless you!! |

PulaPower: You didn’t tell them all the whole truth..
Rwanda is trash with exception of Kigali..
I’ve been to Botswana, Tanzania, Namibia and I can tell you that there’s absolutely nothing in those countries..
Mauritius, syechelles are just good for vacation to me, nothing special in those countries..
Op, berra be careful. That a country has a constant electricity doesn’t make it a good country.. Good morning, brother. Thanks for your contribution. Please, to be sincere, I made this little money online (legitimately) but sometimes, I will spend thousands on fuel plus so many challenges I face and I presently live in Ibadan. Please for God sake, kindly advise which country (among those you visited) I can relocate to that will help with my online hustle aside offline business. As in, let me just go there and continue for maybe some months or a year and relocate to either Europe later. Pls, am a legit online hustler. Thanks again!! |

heniford2: Do not ever ever try SA no matter how sweet it may sound ohh run Personally, I don’t like SA. I don’t believe everything about America or Europe too...as far as the Africa country is safe, good electricity and not too expensive, then am good. Later, I may think of Europe or US |
