Earlier today the video of Taju, the cute 5-year old boy went viral. Taju has just received a 500k pledge from Don Jazzy towards sending him to school.

The cute Yoruba kid became an instant social media hit the moment his video trying to speak English hit the internet.


According to comedian, AY other celebs have also contributed towards Taju's schooling.

So according to a facebook user identified as Nick Sparkles, the lady who came down from her SUV and jumped on the 3rd mainland bridge Lagos is a US based lady, married with 3 kids.

Her husband is Tunde who works or used to work with Access Bank in Lagos. She got involved with another guy in Nigeria and they both got involved in series of adulterous activities. Her lover, an older guy as well swindled or collected over N10m from her.

She went to arrest him while he was on the sick bed in the Hospital only for him to publish nude pictures of them together in order to prove his innocence to the Police that whatever happened between both of them was consensual, that he's not a fraudster as claimed by the married woman.

The blackmail from the man got to her husband and this compelled the husband to conduct a DNA test on all his 3 children which later turned out that they are not all his kids after all.

Mr Bernard Oyabevwe, a lawyer who belongs to the Warri branch of the Nigeria Bar Association, was battered by policemen in Delta state allegedly because he stood up for his client who was arrested by the EFCC.


Mr Oyabevwe was said to have visited the division to defend his client who was arrested by the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

It was reported that on Sunday, Oyabevwe visited the police station attached to the division, which is directly adjacent the state magistrate court. While there, police brutalized him so much, leaving him with injured eyes.

It was learnt that trouble started when Oyabevwe found out that his client and his wife had been forcefully arrested by the EFCC officials from Magistrate Court II and taken to the division. The lawyer was said to have gone to the division to ascertain why his clients were arrested.



While there, a source told Southern City News that policemen at the station threatened to kill the lawyer and whoever dared to intervene. The source, who spoke on condition of annonymity, said one of the policemen pushed the lawyer against the EFCC vehicle that was conveying his client and his wife to an unknown destination. Other policemen were alleged to have held Oyabevwe and beat him to the point that he could no longer talk. The assault was said to have been carried out by over ten policemen and they are alleged to have used their guns to hit the victim’s eyes.

"He started bleeding and coughing out blood until some court officials from both the high and magistrate’s courts intervened and insisted that he should be rushed immediately for medical treatment," the source said.

Oyabevwe, who confirmed the attack on him, accused the Divisional Police Officer of the station, Mr Kenneth Zuokumor, a Chief Superintendent of Police, of being behind the attack, saying that he lost mobile set and N50,000 cash in his pocket.

Actor and Musician Banky W has reacted to the numerous suicide reports that fills the news on a daily basis

Following the recent suicide by a lady on the 3rd main land bridge Lagos, the singer has advised people to reach out to psychiatric centers when they are depressed

He shared the various centers in Nigeria and wrote:

I just heard the heartbreaking news about the young lady who committed suicide by jumping off the 3rd mainland bridge in Lagos... Barely 48 hours after we discussed Anthony Bourdain.
This is a list of all the regional psychiatric centres in Nigeria (thanks @mocheddah). Please reach out and talk to someone. If you're dealing with depression, it is not ridiculous. It is not something you should be ashamed of. If you feel like you're done, and you have nothing left to live for, please believe that you are wrong.. Please talk to someone. Suicide is not the answer.

PS: My *personal* belief is that GOD is the answer. And if you're in Lagos and willing to try Him, you can go to my church @mytph and talk to someone. Not trying to impose my personal spiritual beliefs on anyone -

So apparently Tanzanian star, Diamond Platnumz and the mother of his first two kids Zari Hassan have found their way back to each other.

Months after Zari Hassan dumped him on Valentine’s day over his constant infidelity, he has run back to her.

Last year,the couple survived his infidelity with Hamisa Mobetto which resulted in a child. Hamisa who claimed to be his side chick for 9 years , released intimate photos of them.

Singer Mo’Cheddah and her fiancé Bukunyi Olateru-Olagbegi got married traditionally in Lagos on Wednesday.

The Federal High Court in Lagos has entered judgment against music video director, Clarence Peters, for alleged copyright infringement.

The judgment delivered by Justice Mojisola Olatoregun was in favour of Uwana Victor and Akan Victor, trading under the name, Black Alliance.

According to reports,the judge, in the May 4, 2018 judgment, held that,

“In the circumstances of this case, I have no doubt that the defendant (Peters) took advantage of the plaintiffs and infringed on their copyright.

“Both general and special damages are compensatory damages. General damages are loses which flow naturally from the defendant’s conduct and its quantum need not be pleaded or proved as it is generally presumed by law.

“…I believe that the plaintiffs’ claim for damages amount to general damages and in the circumstance, I believe general damages will adequately take care of the loses occasioned by the defendant’s conduct. The sum of N5m only is awarded against the defendant.”

Peters has, however, headed for the Court of Appeal, seeking to set aside the judgment.

A 38-year-old trader, Iyabo Lawal has been arraigned before an Ikeja Chief Magistrate Court for allegedly assaulting her 13-year-old house help, Kehinde Loclay from Cotonou.

She was arraigned before Chief Magistrate Olufunke Sule-Amzat on a one count charge of child abuse.

Prosecuting Inspector Benson Emeurhi told the court that Iyabo committed the offence on May 11, at about 7am at 91 Olonade Street, Yaba, Lagos,The Natio reports.

Emeurhi informed the court that the defendant was accused of always beating the complainant, Kehinde Loclay, a 13-year-old girl from Cotonou.
According to him, “Kehinde was brought to Lagos by one Iya Modinat to be a house help”.

Benson said the defendant was almost got killed by the defendant one day in the course of beating because she didn’t wake up on time but for the neighbours who rescued her.

Iyabo however pleaded not guilty.

Chief Magistrate Olufunke Sule-Amzat granted the defendant N20,000 bail with two sureties in the like sum.

She ordered that the addresses of the sureties must be verified.

She adjourned the case till July 3.
